At least the various factions can agree on one thing
Nobody was happy with this event. Neither survivor, killer, nobody wanted to keep going. Even after the maximum bonus was reached, nobody wanted to really stick around until the event ended as it was just .....unfun. I might be wrong, but I'm really hoping the devs got the data they were looking for, which speaking of, do we know what they were looking for?

COUNTERPOINT: I was happy with this event*!!
*only because of the bp gains its been nice prestiging killers more
I honestly really wish the bp gains could stay longer, I understand most want to wait until bulk bp spending is here but it'd still be really nice to stock up for the players who don't have everything on everyone yet.

I did kinda like the event for the build variety, but man the gameplay loop of finding survivors in this mode was a chore.

Ok a FEW people are content with the event

I liked the event 🤷
It definitely has some shortcomings and needs improved for the next time but I found it enjoyable enough.

Speak for yourself. I liked the new generators.
They give me hope the devs will make them part of the core game so survivors can do more than hold left click all match.

It was trash. How do you have an event with new gens then tell killers they can't use gen perks on them?
1 -
hope not. Because then they have to rework everything that used to regress and that's never a good thing.... Their reworks have not proven to be very ....good

The event was fun! The blood gens are a nice way to mix things up for survivors, and I had fun trying out new builds on killer to work around how perks that don't affect normal gens became kind of pointless.
Also had a few matches where survivors kept making blood cans for me to kick! And the bp bonuses were good :)

To be honest, I appreciated the design of the new generators. Requiring players to fulfill a prerequisite before they could be repaired added an interesting mechanic, while also ensuring that a survivor wouldn't need to sit idle at one for 84 years.
However, the blood dispensers occasionally spawned too close to the generators, which could be disruptive for the killer.

I had fun, it was something different. I liked the aesthetic. The cosmetics are neat. I loved the bp bonus.

I honestly don't know why survivors didnt like the event, they basically got what they asked for. 1. Faster gens/no regress perks from killers. 2. Something more engaging that sitting on a gen pressing the occasional skill check which almost everyone thinks is boring.
Personally I enjoyed it as both killed and survivor. More so as killer because BP was way better for killer and I don't really run regression perks as killer so that aspect didn't really hinder me as much as it did for other people. And also because ghoul was ruining it for a long time when I played survivor.

I actually liked this version of Bloodmoon. Last iterations were "meh" at best

I also liked the event. The concept of blood gens was new and interesting and the bp bonus was nice too.

I personally got tired of it quickly. It was cool to look at for a bit, but just because it was new didn't make it good enough to stay – to me at least. I wouldn't want it to be in the normal game mode. The concept of wanting more interaction to complete a gen is understood, but i didn't see any real value from the main time aspect being transferred from 'how long it takes to complete the gen' to 'the distance traveled to transfer the gas to the gen.'
I think the idea was that they wanted killers to be able to interrupt and delay gen completion purely from the blood leaking while you run from them. Keep up pressure and you'll gain the time back needed to keep it competitive.

I liked it too.
New gens and animations were nice.

It was bareable enough to where you could turn your brain off and just farm bp. Also made me realize the abandon feature is the greatest QoL for farming we've also seen in years. I was getting into games so quickly not having to stick around in a lost match that it made reaching the cap pretty easy.
If they change a few things up next time it would be even better. Mainly the fuel station spawns and powers not working with the new gens. Pig not having her RBTs and basically having to play with 50% of your power was not fun.

The event was interesting ideas executed extremely poorly. After the first week every match felt painful.

Sorry but objective for survivor was crazy( like 300% faster than normal) if they knew what to do they could do it faster than normal rushing. The regression part for killer was almoust none and perks for survivor, most people run things that makes you last longer in chase(sprint, lythe, etc.) and antitunel.

While I always appreciate more blood points, this year’s BM event was a clear step backwards. Last year there were exciting zones that granted killers with a super lunge and survivors with iron will. This year, the survs got to do something new while the killers… well, they got to kick gens, arguably the least fun or interesting or useful part of playing killer. I wish they had kept the blood zones from ‘24 while also introducing the blood gens.

I enjoyed it. Was it the best event? No, but it added an interesting mechanic. I'm in no rush for it to come back into the game, but do hope it makes a return at some point.
