Cheaters can crash your game
Why not at least trying to fix this issue? It is really annoying since you're getting disconnect penalty over and over again. Do I have to wait for minutes, even hours because of this?

The hack in question seems to involve someone spawning in stuff or spamming animations, causing the framerate to drop fast and the game to eventually freeze to a point where ALT+F4 and even Task Manager won't work anymore.
Your only option is to dc before the freeze and get out of the lobby fast, leaving no room to report anyone. It's a sad state of affairs and is not going to be a warm welcome for new players when the FNAF chapter drops.7 -
At least DC penalty could be removed until this issue is resolved

Yeah they can was happening to me like 2 years ago. Only if i played killer and was winning or much was boring for survivors (me just getting hooks and no crazy gen progress) someone just crashed server. Game claind i dc but it was bs my conection wasnt bad on top of that happened many games.
Still anticheat does nothing, 4 days back i played with xeno on disturb wall and two same looking neas were sus they know where i was on the loop eaven i tried many midgames on top of that i thought they were speeding like mft speed for very short time. Reported them both two days after came notification for sucesfull report.

Yeah this has happened to me several times in the past few days and my friends who stream have been targeted too. They make your FPS drop until the only way you can get out of the game is to hard shut down.
Also, they are spamming friend requests in game with obscene names and from people who you are already friends with

Tonight I tried playing as Scratched Mirror Myers to help me get the grab challenge this week.
I tried playing two games. In both cases, just as I was winning (2 killed in the first match, 1 killed and another 3 each on 2 hooks) my game literally crashed. Like, DBD completely crashes and the Unity Crash handler pops up asking if I want to send the crash report.
In 2500+ hours of game time, this is only the third time this sort of hard crash of DBD has ever occurred. You can't even report the survivors involved, because the game literally ate itself. What the actual hell, BHVR?2 -

I've started getting weird crashes recently, where this was never a problem for me before, and they are all too conveniently timed

God forbid this happen again, but if it DOES, I'm hoping BHVR wipes the DC slate clean after they fix it. I can't imagine anyone being locked out of the game indefinitely with the new penalty system for something they didn't even do.
