Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

The lack of a turn-limit on Oni feels very hard to control.

The 8.7.0 version of Oni, the one that apparently has no turning limit during demon strike. The lack of limitation honestly feels like it hurts Oni more than anything.

To start off a bit bluntly, how did being able to 180 EVER make it past the PTB? I didn't even realise this was a thing until I tried to flick around a corner like I could before, only to end up spinning out of control and missing my target.

That's another thing, the fact that there's no limit means it feels like I have to be very…delicate with my mouse moments, which feels awful during a tense chase, not to mention makes it really hard to deal with jukes because you either don't turn enough and miss or turn TOO much and end up flying away and missing them by a longshot.

I get that this is a preferable over the way it was last patch, but frankly after playing that version and what we have in 8.7.0, I'm just really missing the way Oni was.

it's not turn limit that's the problem, it's removal is working as intended. Problem is that BHVR somehow astronomically upped sensitivity of flicks for some unknown reason.

But overall, i wish Oni was never touched at all, i feel like it's gonna take months to bring him to a decent state again.

It's extremely frustrating trying to play him right now. Prior to this patch I wasn't having any issues around corners and rarely bumped walls. Now it feels like trying to Demon Strike around a corner immediately snaps me 90 degrees and smacks the wall.

IMO he's unplayable right now. I just P100'd him and I guess I have to put him on the shelf.

I hope they revert the 8.7.0 changes.

I am glad they didn't force 90 degrees limit and I think 180 should definetly be a thing and good even console can do it.

But it's definetly an issue 90 degrees flick is harder than 180 right now. I don't think this should be difficult to fix, just keep limit and lower sensitivity, no?

They better fix it before 2v8… Also dash charge cancel bug needs to be fixed

Oni should have a button combination to 180, so console and PC players can equally do them.

Then Oni wouldn’t need the turbo boosted turning sensitivity.

Still wouldn't help with a controller, as the input delay and dead zones in the sticks prevent instantly doing anything. Think of it like a half-second delay on all that you do.
