Pls calm down a bit and give the developers a chance
rly… ppl should give the developers a chance. What do you expect? That everyone will scream and then suddenly something will change? ( im talking about the new Colors)
It all costs time, work and money !
I think there should at least be an option "to switch it on and off" instead of throwing everything overboard straight away, because there are also players who like the new features, like me ( and i know alot others ) for example.
It's perfectly fine if many players don't like new features and it's perfectly fine to criticize them, but remember…
It's like the generator sounds back then. Instead of introducing an option to switch it on and off, it's immediately removed again because the players shout loudly enough and I person. don't like that, sry. I don't think that's healthy for a game either. Just me opition

If you see things differently, that's perfectly fine. I'm just arguing for an option to turn it on and off because many other players and I like this change instead of just undoing everything

Having it as an option to turn on and off would be nice. I am sure that could work.

I would like to see it made optional or at least have options for the colorblind.
Until then, eh, Nightlight has skins and icon packs; I never liked the original colors much anyway and I've been using a combo of the Ritual Pack and Pomesa's Ghostface Pack for years.4 -
I don't think people are really "shouting", though some might have become a bit aggressive, but mostly I see folks who are a bit upset about 1. a change literally no one asked for, especially when there are so many other things that need addressing 2. a BAD change at that, because aesthetics aside, many colorblind people have mentioned that they can't distinguish the new colors properly and 3. the fact that BHVR simply ignored all feedback (the one thing the PTB supposedly exists for) and pushed the changes into the game without ever addressing any of the complaints. So I don't blame folks for voicing their frustration.

You nailed it.
This is the exact reason why so many people has taken to the forums to voice themselves over the changes.
I have been thinking about the entirety of the latest update, and come up with a "the good, the bad and the ugly" of the changes. The good:
- Orela Rose
- Having multiple challenges running at once
- Separation of skin rarities from one ultra rare category to two different categories, and clear descriptions on what the skins do for the character.
- Showing the speed-buff gained from Haste, and the debuff from Hindered as numbers on the UI.
- Some of the perk balance
The bad:
- Making the rift pass more time-sensitive and grindier. - Huge no-no!
- Taking away tomes, and the unique daily challenges
- Not including Master challenges in the rift pass quests.
- Made event offerings 5000 BP in the bloodweb (thanks to the rarity changes).
- Re-naming of some rarities. What's wrong with ultra rare?
- Some of the perk balance (notably Babysitter).
The ugly:
- The one that were overwhelmingly talked about before the patch went live: Rarity colors for items, add-ons and offerings. - This feedback should have been listened to.
- The shuffling of text in item and perk descriptions, such as "Very Rare Dwight Fairfield perk" becoming "Dwight Fairfield (huge void in between) Very Rare". The old way was much better, and gave a clearer description of who the perk belonged to. Completely unnecessary change.

How can we say that the new pass system is grindier after 1 day? My experience has been the opposite. Playing 4-5 games equating to rank 10 on the pass.
We don't know how many shards the later tier weekly missions will be worth.
We still get credit for playing games, contrary to what most are saying.
There is always event missions that come out throughout a rift that will give more shards.
And the big one, working on MULTIPLE quests at once should vastly decrease the number of games needed to be played.
It baffles me how folks haven't done their own research and calculations and rely on what some folks are saying on here. It'll be interesting to see 2 weeks from now when everyone changes tune about how quick and easy the new pass is to complete compared to the old tome.

Please don't digress. Let's stick to the topic of colors. Gamma settings will also be available soon. I think this will solve the problem of it being too dark for some players.
