Item Exploit to avoid crows
Recently I had multiple matches where my teammates went with a selfish build using a key and exit gate perks, but they didn't do anything, and to avoid getting crows, they started picking and dropping their item so the crows wouldn't snitch on them. I don't think it's fair that 3 survivors have to work extra to cover a stalling survivor. Also, survivors should get swarmed by crows more often if they haven't touched any gens or been chased for several minutes. Selfish playing like this makes matches harder for no reason. I had chases at 5 gens longer than 5 minutes, and still no gens were done because my teammates were hiding and abusing this item exploit.

This is a very old survivor strat, I'm not sure BHVR has ever acknowledged it.

This seems to be coming with FNAF chapter, the "Anti-Rat mechanic".

Known old exploit that has long needed to be patched out. Survivors shouldn't be able to hold the game hostage like this just to sell their team out and get a free hatch.
