We're Gonna Live Forever - how to gain tokens?
I know you can easily get a token from unhooking a survivor, but what triggers a token from "taking a hit to protect a survivor"? I get protection points often and distraction points but these never trigger tokens. Which specific action counts as taking a hit to protect somebody?

In order to get the "Take a hit for someone" tokens, the one you need to take a hit for must have been in a chase with the Killer, and you have to take a hit from them before that chase ends. You have to be fairly close to them though, and moving (I think). The problem is, thats the most unreliable way to get tokens.
Unhooking people and freeing them from a bear trap are the most reliable ones. Taking hits from the Killer while carrying someone can sometimes work, but not sure if you have to be healthy, or crouching, or standing for it to work. I tried it once and after being hit twice (yes, I got downed), I only got one token.

If you're literally inside the survivor, you can get the token. You can also get one for being hit while healing (though if you go down while doing so, I don't think it counts). It's honestly easier to get the token by taking a hit while the killer is carrying someone.

Sometimes if another survivor is in a chase and you run between the killer and survivor and take a hit then sometimes it will give a stack. If the killer swings before you run between them then that will also count without needing to be in the chase beforehand (it's still odd at times not giving stacks)
