Wait time unknown (ps4)
Is anyone having any issues at the moment for PS4? I tried searching for a match for at least ten minutes but I keep getting errors or it just takes longer than 2-3 minutes.
Or is it just me?

I’ve had the same issue tonight and yesterday as well, can’t find a game as solo survivor. The new matchmaking system they are implementing is the reason. They need to fix it.

@vux_intruder I was able to find matches earlier today within 1-3 minutes. However right now it seems as if nobody is playing at the moment.
PS4 players, I need more of you to confirm this!!

There are only ~10,000 people playing right now across all platforms. It’s the lowest I’ve seen it in a long time. Might have something to do with it.

It's really screwed up right now, I'm getting the same thing and going into broken lobbies.. Idk whats going on. :/

Doesn't this only show pc (steam) stats? This graph doesn't account for XBOX or PS4...

My friend r1 killer on ps4 quit playing because it took him 4hrs to get three matches. He’s not playing survivor right now either due to matchmaking.

@Speshul_Kitten: On SteamCharts, that would be PC only, not across all platforms, since it only counts players logged into the game via Steam.

Matchmaking times are awful. I have only played 2 games in over an hour. Its ridiculous.

@Speshul_Kitten: That said, though (and I meant to include this in my other post, but it's 3am), the overall player numbers for DbD are no doubt low.
SteamCharts has been in a decline more than usual, and even the recent DLC didn't give it the normal bump that a DLC would (making me wonder if Plague might not have sold as well). I've also noticed the 24-peak this week declining by an average of 1,000 to 1,500 day-to-day. Behavior is definitely messing things up, and I'm not sure even Ash will help it out, since Survivor side is a true mess right now to begin with.

I have had this problem since yesterday.

It was working great when they first introduced the new matchmaking system, but when they reintroduced it, we got the mismatched ranks AND the long waiting times.
Its annoying as I very rarely got matched with people with bad pings anyway. Its a shame they don't give us a tickbox to opt-in to play other regions because that might be why we are waiting so long now.

Me and all my friends having the same problem. People started playing other games than dbd, because it got very annoying with these waiting times.

Well I’m on the ps4 and what happens is I click join match and it says wait time unknown and then a random ad for ps membership pops up, when I exit the ad the ‘join match’ and ‘wait time unknown’ are overlapping each other and I never join a match

That sounds so strange. Does this happen to your other ps4 games? Otherwise if not, it could be a bug. I’m not sure though!!
You should try to report it though.

i just fixed the problem a few hours ago, turns out my ps plus membership didn’t renew and dbd requires ps plus membership to play it
But thanks so much for helping, I was really confused at first.
