Item use delay
So I was being chased and figured I could use my styptic agent to prolong the chase a little. But when I stopped running I couldn't use my item and was downed.
Is there an intended delay in item-use or might his be because of something else?

Then the only thing I can think of is that she was running the Weighted Head add-on, which inflicts incapacitated for 10 seconds when she hits you with a hatchet.
If not that, then I don’t know.

She managed to M1 me so I don't think that's it.
Could also be that I panicked and tried to use my item before standing completely still. I don't know, just felt weird since I haven't experienced this before.

Sometimes we just overestimate the amount of stopping time needed to get something like that off. It can't exactly be used like Dead Hard, you know, on reaction.
