Kinda realized how boring Singularity is

I get you wanna protect gens to secure a win but when your doing nothing but placing them over and over at gens I don't care that my fun isn't their priority but holy hell is it boring. Those pods can be used to slip stream to survivors or even get a pod on them during a chase but like just it's the same thing place bio pod at gen when survivor is at a gen I'll just chase them or basically push them away from the gen and carry on. I get there's the anti 3 gen thing but like does everyone play the killer one way?

Hillbilly is always hug the survivor and down them or even just not ever use his weapon when he can be used for a good map travel build.

Trapper is nothing but windows and pallets when there ways to not use the grass and be unpredictable.

Ghoul is just constant power use when seriously I don't think they changed him at all in the PTB I still get BS hits and well your still stuck when he attacks.

Like I get it's their power without their an M1 killer but like there are ways to still be powerful and not use your power as much.

Nemesis get to tier 2 and have survivors use all the needles once that happens if you infect them their basically constantly hunted by the zombies plus free pallet breaks I know you'll be at tier 3 but still.

Hillbilly and Blight map travel builds covering a lot of ground plus mix some BBQ and Lethal or maybe Friends till the end and boom a nice location build.

Trapper I get a lot of maps basically just said no to grass but placing it around corners or areas that survivors wouldn't usually suspect it like at shake don't just place it at windows survivors hug walls so using that your advantage.

Singularity already covered just place pods during chase takes a few seconds to get a pod on them and quick to recover.

Skull merchant a good anti-loop killer placing drones at loops to both have survivors get injured if they stay or force them to leave and get a good chance at getting a hit.

Listen I get this opinion may sound stupid or just whiny but when your dealing with the same kind of killer just gaurd gen with power push, survivor off, and break gen especially on a map like Hawkins where basically he can place pods DIRECTLY at a gen it can be annoying. It's like how Bubba was not everyone is going to camp you at hook or in basement but some many people do it you just expect the match to be boring.

More complaining how basically it's just the same thing over and over again which can be a little boring since you just expect it at that point not every Singularity does but deal with it enough you just expect it like survivors bringing flashlights they may be a bully squad or just some guy trying to do a challenge or mostly for pallet blinds.

I mean take for example a Hillbilly match where he basically is right up against you and downs you with his chainsaw and repeat that a couple more times and maybe a few matches and then the next match you get a Hillbilly who isn't doing that but part of you still expects it since so many others did it before.

I think Singularity is pretty universally considered one of the most unfun killers to go against, particularly for solo queue players. Whenever I go against him, teammates never seem to want to disable his cameras and so you’re constantly getting tagged with his pods and then he’s on your ass the entire match. Feels very powerless to do anything against him. SWF teams with coordination seem to have a much easier time neutering his power. Fortunately, almost nobody plays Singularity so I very rarely see him.

Thats not a problem with singularity. EMPs are extremly powerful against him. That is an issue with survivors refusing to use EMPs aggressively and intelligently. Teams that actually use the EMPs like they are supposed to can prevent him from actually using his power allmost the entire game. If you dont use the emps you are gonna get crushed and thats just the way it is.

EMPs havent done anything in nearly two years. They were designed to stop 3 genning and were nerfed so concretely that they can't do that.

Also, for OP: We could've killed Hux's gen guarding capabilities with his last buffset, by also buffing EMP ranges and availability. But nah, people said they didn't play him because he felt too weak so we had to keep EMPs in the dirt and buff him at the same time. But hey! At least his pick rate has gone up- what's that? It hasn't? Oh, well that sucks.

Frankly OP, I think Singularity may just not be for you, and that's OK. Not everyone likes every Killer. I don't enjoy playing Wesker, I find him too slippery to use effectively on Controller for my liking.

Yeah I mean I don't like Nurse due to her hit detection being very iffy but Singularity just feels dull since if you face him it's just nothing but seeing pods at gens which makes sense but he has a lot of potential.

To be fair that seems to be his intended playstyle, it's fine not to like it but it's not really fair to be angry that people are playing a Killer the intended way…
