I've been really enjoying it on Xeno with self destruct bolt builds

I was already using it on Legion, so just enjoying the buff. It not only helps give you an extra boost in-between FF stabs, letting you chain easier... but also helps to get a down after you FF stab someone and wanna go for an M1.

I am running Kaneki anti-windows with Dissolution and it's pretty nasty. Survivors think they can loop you on short loops but you thanks to that speed outrun them for free down.

I am going to throw a potential spanner in the works on this - please no hating me, but I do believe there's a bug attached with this perk that means killers who have vault in their power - so Wesker, Legion in Frenzy etc, are benefitting from it when they shouldn't be. So think of it working in a similar way to Bamboozle in that respect.

Clown's an obvious pick for this perk, it meshes so well with his kit.
Another killer I've tried it on is Trickster paired with Superior Anatomy and the movement speed while throwing addon. Pretty fun stuff.

Can you be more specific? Bamboozle's block effect works with killer power vaults, but the vault speed bonus doesn't, is that what you mean? Is that unbound shouldn't be activating on killer power vaults.
Or i've heard that it can work on pallet vaults but i haven't seen this myself9 -

I think she means pallet vaults. Wesker I believe can active it by them.

Yes that's what I mean, the vault speed bonus shouldn't occur for Killer power vaults ie Legion, Kaneki etc.
It also shouldn't work on Pallet vaults at all, specifically window vaults for this one.-3 -
that is definitely a bug, Unbound is supposed to only work on Window Vaults, not pallets.

Real shame that we can't have nice things like this. Why is it that big of a problem that a perk synergizes with some killers better than others?

Its not about working better on some killers than others, that's any perk tbh - different killers get better or worse benefits than others. Specifically it was about not wanting the interaction on the actual killer power itself, which is why there is no vault speed bonus on Bamboozle for Legion in Frenzy.

Could it maybe something to be reconsidered and made an actual feature? Its a neat lil thing for Wesker, Legion and John Tokyo Ghoul. It encourages build diversity, and Id say its in a sweet spot of being strong, but not a must pick.
It would also stay consistent with Bamboozle activating on vaults, wouldnt really make sense if only one works

That is how you know the perk is useless. If it actually allowed killers to get hits they normally wouldn’t have, then survivors would call it “another Scamper”, and demand for it to get nerfed.

I had a feeling that this must be a bug because some killers benefit from it more than others due to having "the right power for it". But it's really sad and with the fix, many players won't use the perk anymore.
Is it possible to give this perk a QoL change to make it less map, killer, and tile depending like also activating when breaking a pallet or remove the timer? Something like this to make it better on their own and so more killers can use it, especially once the bug gets fixed. Would be really nice if you could ask the team if the perk could get some kind of QoL change to make it easier to use.

It's truthfully so damn sad that the Devs of all people feel the need to start a post in this community with "please don't hate me" because the community is that finicky and picky and childish about what its wants. I'm sorry we're like this, Mandy. I wish we were better.

I don't think that should be considered a bug, if it works for pallet vaults yes, but for window power vaults it is no different than bamboozle still applying the window block but not the speed? I think this should be considered intended because you are still vaulting within power. I'm pretty sure wesker's is the only one that applies on pallets.

Altering the speed of the vault is different than triggering an effect on the vault, which is what it is more comparable to. Dark Arrogance, Superior Anatomy, Fire up, and Bamboozle vault speed all don't work with the power vaults which is logically consistent, but Bamboozle's window block does work on power vaults, which means Unbound, which is another effect that triggers on window vaults should as well regardless of if you're in power or not.

This should not be considered a bug and be intended this actually makes the perks useful and actually encourage build diversity if you want us to go back to stacking 4 slows we can

Please make the fix for it to not work on pallets, but keep the activation available if a power is used on a window.😁

I never understood why this happens with this game. So what if 3 killers have a perk that works okay-ish with their power? Its mostly just fun, isn't game breaking, and honestly only helps with situations where the killer is weaker. Like Wesker's vaulting is super slow at the end, Frenzy just lets you go faster, and Ghouls vault can just work differently while enraged. Why can't there be perk interactions for killers power, which is their whole thing? I've always hoped BHVR would take a page from devs like DigitalExtremes where players find something broken (but they really enjoy it) so its at least somewhat added to the game. This is a live service game, DBD should be encouraging unique or diverse builds and learning from the players not forcing our hand into boring metas.
It would be SUCH a better experience if killers could have more unique loadouts to them, rather then "which gen regression perk works better for me? Maybe I'll throw on an aura." We should have more cool and fun interactions with what defines the killers themselves, not less.
