Reshade needs to go
i stumble upon a streamer, wont say who i dont care if the devs dont care, but they had a list in their reshade for each map they get it is crazy.
Im only saying this because when FNAF comes out good chance those new players will try survivor and these are the people that are gonna be hiding in dark bushes thinking they are going to be safe.

When fnaf arrives, we'll get gamma settings, which is basically the same thing as reshade, so what's wrong with reshade?

are we really complaining about Reshade that is literally allowed?

Yeah a red stain that you can make as bright as the sun and shine through walls is totally fair!!!

Then when they go to Toba they complain it's too red

I personally use Filters because DBD's colorblind settings are pretty bad. All I do is change red to purple so I can actually see Auras and Scratchmarks, I dont do anything over the top. I personally do hope that DBD reached the point to where Filters would not be needed, but as it stands, their accessibility options have a lot of issues and do not help enough.

I myself use nvidia filters to no1 brighten the game abit due to my bad eyesight (main maps i have a hard time tracking on are swamp and macmillan due to their lighting. and i make the "red/orange" pop abit more so the scratch marks dont blend into certain maps/structures (coldwind, dead dawg, toba)

Reshade in itself isn't too bad, but it certainly allows for blatant cheating such as seeing the red stain through walls and making areas specifically designed to be dark to no longer be dark making it easier to spot characters. I wish they'd just ban it and be done with it.

I used detail enhancers to make the image more pretty and make the screen more visable without washing it out I do turn it off for the Evreie map.

If the color through maps wasn't so inconsistent and just bad overall, plus their colorblind settings being pretty much garbage, this just wouldn't be an issue. Even if you "get rid" of ReShade there's always another way to achieve this. ReShade is just the most user-friendly. You'll never get rid of filters.

No.
Its an accessibility thing and used by many to help make things more visible because of poor eyesight/etc, and there are many maps that are miserable with reshade (eyrie is a good example) because its far too bright.
