Ping in lobby?
Are they ever going to add back the ping in the lobby? Recently, regardless of 1v4 or 2v8, every other game I'm in, I'm either placed in another region or the killer is placed in another region. When the hits start getting irregular for me is from 60-70 ping, but I'm constantly placed in 80+ ping lobbies. The game is not meant to be played at that ping level, yet the game actively encourages it by constantly putting me in said matches. My biggest issue with this as well is that the queue times take 10-20 seconds maximum, so there's literally 0 excuse as to why I'm being placed in lobbies like that consistently.

if you're on PC you can use either wireshark or exit lag to see the server you're connected to in lobby

I guess I'll have to rely on another software to help me until Behavior fixes this issue.

BHVR will never show ping in lobby. If they were ever going to, they would have done it long ago. They care more about quantity of players in the game than the quality of player experience. Too bad for you if you get stuck in an unfair match with a VPN-abusing player.

You used to be able to see it in the bottom right corner in the lobby, I'm not sure when they added and removed (for some reason) but they did. There's 0 reason for them to remove it, but it doesn't make them money, so they don't care! :D

If I had to guess, they removed it because people would just dodge the lobby if they noticed a high ping. I did it all the time because it's dumb to play in a high ping lobby. Now, there's no choice, which is a shame. If BHVR doesn't want to put the ping indicator back in, at least give us the option to wait longer for a more fair match.

Most online games are going to be unplayable if the ping is too high, you don't see other popular games hiding players ping for that reason as well. Players shouldn't be forced to play a laggy match, especially when they're constantly going against killers with higher ping.

The best solution is more and stronger servers globally. We do not need more lobby dodging messing with the matchmaking even more.

Then they should make that happen, but forcing players to play laggy matches isn't the route either. You'd think they'd have a solution by now, but instead they would rather release new cosmetics and killers so they can make more money to keep in their pockets instead of tryign to make the game better :D
