Retire map offerings, sacrificial ward.
I believe it's a better idea than making them 20% chance.
Map offerings bring so much bad manners, anger.
Nobody wants to be sent to a specific map, on any side.
Also, we would have a better chance to get our lovely bloody party streamers, green envelopes, 100% category offerings.

How am I supposed to get map-specific achievements without map offerings?
Cross my fingers I get the one map I need, out of a pool of 40+ different maps?
Because that's how many maps there are now. Some map offerings realms share many different maps in one, like the MacMillan's Phalanx Bone have 5 maps under it, so even if I am sent to the MacMillan Estate realm, there's only a 20% chance I'll get the specific map I need.

id say the frustration that goes away with removing map offerings. outweight the cost of achievements by a long shot

Simple. We remove those luck based cheevos.

I wouldn't mind that, but do you think BHVR would do that? I doubt it.

The achievements and trophies cannot be changed unless they become physically unattainable.

Making Cheevos this luck based would make them almost unobtainable.

Sony and Nintendo and Microsoft all resist any changes to them mightily. They should keep that in mind when designing them

Achievements matter just as much as mmr, which is to say, it doesn't matter at all.
Us having fun is more fun than something that hasn't been relevant since maybe 2012.

Some people like collecting Cheevos, they very much matter to those people.

Many players wish to 100% their games, and collect achievements as they are added to the game. Plus with the anticipated player count increase with Springtrap's chapter you can bet those players will try for them as well.

Honestly, if some new player tries 100%, he will understand the "horror"-tag for dbd.
There are a few challenges, which can suck out the fun of gaming forever. Not even counting the "i need to bribe the survivor challenges", the one "once when the moon is full, the stars aligned and now you have a 5% chance" or even only every adept challenge.
I quit achievements after doing some useless, time-wasting stuff in another game (did a lot of 100% but then i thought about why i started to play games. (Dont get me wrong i love clean numbers, but are we really so easily manipulated to do dumb, tedious tasks?).
And not to forget: many challenges are not fun for the other players in the match either.
