Please do not delete the old Tomes
I'm really really begging not to delete the old tomes. I know they will be replaced with the new system and that is okay. But please do not delete the old tomes. They are an incredibly fun side objective to the game and have been my main reason to play the games ever since they got first released! It felt like I'm playing an actual game, slowly working through characters to unlock charms, banners, icons and lore! With so many unique side missions such as the glyphs and postulas.
If the Tomes were deleted, you'd get rid of an incredible amount of playable content for no reason. The Tomes provide opportunities to try out new characters, builds and get out of the comfort zone.
They can be very difficult, yes, but that also makes them fun! The Tomes have already been thrown into the background and I can live with that easily.
Please just don't delete the Tomes we already have; I am begging. 😟

Hard agree, there's really no downside to letting them continue to truck away out of sight now that the work's done to change the buttons around.

100% agreed.
I understand that BHVR don't want to have a deprecated feature in the game forever, but the Tomes system don't have to be deprecated. They could create new Tomes purely for gameplay challenges every now and then, eg. a new Chapter releases, they release a Tome that's only got one act, mostly focuses on the new chapter's content, and could be harder/more specific than typical Tome content. Maybe rename it Challenges or something. Having this giant library of nonexpiring quests to work on is a great thing for the game.
