    You can take DS

I recommend losing the killer however, pick some stealth perks that can help you with that, e.g. iron will

And without DC or SWF or something like that? I can't always run stealth perks....

Its a hard to swallow pill, but unless you run DS or are really good at stealth, there isnt much a survivor can do against tunneling apart from genrushing. Obviously as single tunneled survivor you cant gen-rush, so the only thing you can do is punish the killer as much as possible for tunnelling you, by prolonging the chases for as long as possible. If you have an optimal team, and/or the killer is below your skilllevel, you can hold out until exit gates are powered. Then someone quickly opening the gates and/or Borrowed Time can save you. All depends on your team really, so solo survivors draw the short straw as always.

i recommend a instaheal medkit. When the killer is breaking a pallet or trying to find you quickly heal and maybe they won’t waste time trying to get you.

the only advantage to tunneling besides that person being one hook closer to death is the fact that they are in injured state. So if you’re healed then I don’t see why they would keep going after you.

Some perks: ds obviously, iron will( f the killer loses you for split second this perk will save from being found by hearing), I would run lithe or some exhaustion perk so you can run away as fast as possible from the killer, and probably bond or lightweight, bond to bring the killers to other survivors (bad move what else can you do) lightweight or any other perk that allows you not to have scratch marks is a good perk against a killer who tunnels

Take them to the strongest loops. Waste as much time as possible. You can equip Adrenaline if you're confident in your looping. SB helps gaining distance if tunneled off hook. DS can help if you go down immediately and DH can help give you time, too (don't use SB and DH together). You could also use perks to help you know if the killer is coming or sees you. Prem lets you know where they are and Spine Chill helps you know if the killer is looking at you.

How exactly are you being tunneled? Is it off hook or is the killer coming back for you once BBQ procs. If the latter is occurring, you could bring along Distortion or get into lockers to counter the perk. Are you running into a killer after another survivor brought them to you? You could run bond and stealth away when someone starts to run your direction. Additionally Iron Will can help you be quiet while even in pain and a lot of killers use noises to tell them where someone is. Urban Evasion can help you stay low to the ground while still going quickly, though I personally wouldn't Urban Evade everywhere. It wastes a lot of time.

EDIT: I personally always bring Bond to help with people taking the killer to you. It's good information, regardless. Bond, Iron Will, and Spine Chill could be helpful to avoiding the killer or at least knowing when the killer is coming. Iron Will is good for stealthing while injured. Many will move on if they don't hear the person injured.

Iron Will is a great perk to take. I can't tell you how many times I've vaulted over a window injured and the Killer loses me. I play as a Claudette with the dreds (no glasses) and the white Carnival top and the white 80s jeans. I'm far from immersed.

The best advice I can give when it comes to getting tunneled:

Don't run out in the open, stick to jungle gyms and large rocks/boulders that usually will have a pallet. What you need to do is make the killer think you are going to go one way and then double back the other way.

Do this two times and then on the third time, actually go that way cuz the Killer will think you are mindgaming him with your jukes/psyche-outs.

    Goodluck!

Man depipping is such a punishment for killers that already have the r1 achievement.

It's almost like many killers depip on purpose anyways to reduce queuetimes, man what will those killers do if you help them depip, surely they'll cry in agony.

Muddy the tracks of the tunneled person with your own to help the tunneled. Equip iron will to hide your pained moans. New ds will help but it is one use so unless your team is efficient ya might want a different perk. Of all the exhaustion perks sprint burst is the best for dealing with it if the killers are camping and tunneling. borowed time the sheer number of anti tunnel items out there is immense. A key also punishes tunnneling by letting you access the hatch faster.

Like.. survivor forced tunnels? That is, a teammate rescuing you when the killer is RIGHT THERE. Tell your team pre-game to use their brain or use borrowed time if they wanna make bad plays. This is a hard pill for survivors to swallow for some reason, but this isn't the killers fault because your teammates are bad.

True tunneling? It's like a worse version of camping. The killer is wasting all his time on you. Use dead hard, DS, and waste as much of the killer's time as possible. If your bad at looping, use evading/sneaky perks to try and get away. If your team has a lick of sense, they should be burning through gens with no map pressure from the killer.

2 people just got facecamped by a huntress.

There are situations, where you cant do anything.

But when you hit rank 1, you'll dance the killer around the map.

If a killer facecamps on red ranks or tunnels, he immediatly looses the game.

    Time is everything.

Tunneling = Less healing time, more generator times

Only stupid teammates can mess you up

If you're worried at all about being tunneled off a hook then you can also punish the killer by taking Breakdown. not the most amazing perk out there but it does break the hook you were on in addition to giving you some info about where the killer is coming from

DS, Adren, DH, and MoM can all help you if you are just constantly being chased by the killer.

Learn how to loop and how to stealth the killer when given an opportunity.

This is a sleezy thing to do, but you could equip Bond and then run the killer to other survivors. Sometimes that might be enough of a distraction for you to get away completely and heal, or the killer might just decide to let you go for another target.

Ultimately though the only thing that will help is to get better in a chase. If you can run from the killer long enough sometimes they will give up and go for someone else, or you can just flat out escape because the gates are open.

I can give you a few I guess...

Run in a SWF, so you can be assured your teammates are doing something while you are being tunneled. Or have them take the aggro of of you. My friend once took the aggro of me when I was death on hook, being tunnelled, and we both escaped because of it.

Learn how to run the killer, sometimes they give up on you if you outplay them too much.

    Run Adrenaline or DS

I can't really think of anything else.

"Run Stealth perks." Don't. Not only is stealth boring, it is also not as efficient as running. Run chase perks, like Dead Hard/Lithe/Balanced Landing (Don't run Sprint Burst or Head On), Adrenaline, Hope... If you don't run Self-care like me, Iron Will is great. Avoid Urban Evasion.

    Hope this somewhat helps.

    @Chi

If anyone find stealth boring then they shouldn’t have a problem with being tunneled.

I always recommend the classic build against tunneling, now that the DS has undergone changes I use it this way, since I am always chased in every game:

Deliverence; Decisive Strike; Borrowed ( or Adrenaline ); Dead Hard.

I got quite a few results with this build, so I think it might help you against the killer focussed

Lithe. Iron Will. DS. Urban Evasion

Idk, I've never made a build to counter tunneling directly but I main Lithe as my exhaustion perk and I cannot count how many times killers have just given up on me and went for someone else just because I used lithe. They don't even want to follow me anymore sometimes. Iron Will is helpful because of what it does, pair that with stealth play and hopefully the killer doesnt have sloppy or iron maiden. DS is what it is, and Urban Evasion although a perk I don't use, I think it's great on aggressive and or tunneled players.

I just enjoy getting tunneled if I'm being honest. The design of the game is their's a powerful killer who is TRYING to KILL the SURVIVORS. So if he tunnels me I just run around. People complain about being the obsession and that they got tunneled because of it, like ummm you're the SURVIVOR you are TRYING to SURVIVE it's not guaranteed that you'll make it every game. People get attached to only playing survivor and want to balance the game around that, but the killer is supposed to be OP. IDK it's just mind blowing how I play all these games and this is the only game where i'll get messages from both sides crying because they think A. I hacked B. I glitched or C. Tunneled or Camped. Not to mention apparently NOED is SUPER DIFFICULT to counter and really OP and every new killer is just insanely broken OP. Like #########. "I played against plague in PTB for a week shes clearly just absolutely broken". Plague comes out "yeah she's fine". Not directing this at you, just the people who cry about everything the devs do to the game.
