It was done to make the game more friendly to new players, as the colors are more in tune with other games. Same with how challenges are now called quests.

Yea, and the use of the word "challenges" was so confusing! Like what even IS a challenge? is that like a quest? I always wondered, now I no longer need to wonder.

Which is a terrible reason. All its doing is causing way more confusion. Ive had 2 friends who started playing again after a few months and it just completely threw them off. Not to mention how similar Purple, blue and green all look similar at a glance, so taking a peak at what perks/add ons you have is a lot less clear.
As for challenges being renamed "quests" so its "easier to understand" is also stupid. They didnt rename the Rift to Battlepass despite it being the exact same as other games. Quests could of either A; be renamed to something like Rituals so it at least fits more thematically. Or B; not be introduced at all and keep tomes and challenges the same.
Ive said it before and Ill say it again. If this update had rolled through with the haste and hindered stacking removal, it would of 1000% been the worst update in this games history

Oh, yes! I completely agree, not to mention that colorblind players are reporting that the new rarity colors are WORSE than the others were. Just was saying, that "new player familiarity" and being more like other games is their reason, as dumb as it is. Kind of like how for so long they didn't want to do P100 Rewards because they "don't want to introduce FOMO"

pls at least give us a button in the setting to turn it back to the og colors like how you can press a button to turn on or off the new item pop ups that got introduced last year.

What bothers me the most is changing green from Rare to Uncommon. Now I struggle to remember which it is and constantly confuse blue for Uncommon instead of Rare.

I really dislike this color change. I want it to be reverted back to the way it was right now.

Idk why devs didnt put it as option in menu for players to choose which colors they want the old ones or new ones.
