I apologize for what I said about springtrap...
So I was harsh on Springtrap. I was thinking it was a low budget huntress. Playing around with the killer a lot more I'm finding more things that I really like. The axe is ok for close to midish range encounters, but playing around the axe is what you gotta do. Foxy's Hook is super fun. You get 10% haste for 6 sec when you walk through the bubble. If you want you can just the axe right in front of you its like a clown bottle. Endu CPU is nice when you walk out of the bubble you get 20% you get to break pallets, gens, walls 25% faster. Pair it with brutal strength and you can just shred pallets. The other thing I didn't realize was the axe weighs you down while holding it. When you don't have the axe you move faster. The axe also has a heavy feel to it. I've been able to hit shots over loops just by tossing it up over a loop because how fast it just drops down. To the ones hating Spring trap saying the samethings I was, play with him a bit. I'm sure you will end up liking him.

I initially thought being able to scan him and give out aura read while he still has a TR was going to be a problem.
But his undetectable game is strong, as an undetectable enjoyer. I was pleasantly surprised and now I understand why he has that counterplay.Well played, BHVR.

I love m1 killers, stealth, and giving survivors fun toys to horse around with a la Xeno. perfect killer for me. with his addons it seems there are options for playing around the Axe to not make him anything like Huntress, which is a relief.
safe to say this guys gonna be more liked than Ghoul

Can easily side with that!

I feel like if they had made the projectile a javelin or something, ppl wouldn't have been so quick to say it was a Huntress clone.

the killer seems so fun im glad they went this direction

We could have had him throwing pizzas at people. It'd be a lot stupider but maybe there would be less complaining.

Glad to hear he's fun to play, but I'm curious how he feels on the other side. Killers like Ghoul are a blast in control – but often at the cost of fair counterplay for survivors. I haven’t touched the PTB yet and will go in blind, but before forming final opinions, I think it’s worth asking: does the learning curve feel healthy for both sides? As both Springtrap players and survivors adapt, the real test will be whether that curve stays balanced and enjoyable across the board.

Gave him a try myself, and he seems really well balanced. Definitely has counterplay to his kit, and strong in his own right.
I like how much each add-on changed how his power works and so on.2
