Killer Power Selection
Some of the new killers (and redesigned killers) can be quite cumbersome to play because of all of their powers.
It would be cool to be able to choose between 2 play styles for a killer. Currently this is done via add-ons, but it could be a customisation option. I.e. with Freddy you just get more powerful exploding fake pallets OR you get the moving snares (but more powerful). Without having to do this R1 toggling.
It would add some variety. Rather than "oh it's killer X" it would be "oh it's killer X, but will they have power A or B?"
I'm sure some pros will fume at this idea, but the killers are inconsistent. Most of them are 1 button powers, then you've got Vecna and Freddy who you have to juggle controls for.

Sounds interesting but it'd be design hell having to give every killer a second power.

I'm sorry but having bhvr design a second power AND balance it accordly for every single killer is just unrealistic. It's already hard enough to balance the over 30 (I think we are close to 40 but I don't remember the number) powers with all the addons, perks, items and maps - if we double this it's just getting worse.
Also it would be most likely the case that they still only use one power and that's the better one - it's near impossible that both are exactly the same in terms of strength, and people tend to use the best thing.

IDK why you don't think Addons can suffice for a system like this. The Snares/Pallets for Freddy used to be separated by Addon choice.
Anyway, I'm not against making characters smoother to play, but I think it's cool for Killers to have multiple powers. If you're struggling to use them all to full effectiveness, that's the point of learning and improving. I'm not great at juggling snares/pallets as Freddy and thinking with both powers at once, but that's what separates me from a good Freddy.
Also IMO, while specialising in certain aspects of your toolkit is nice, splitting tools up entirely and forcing players to choose a limited amount can risk characters feeling less skill expressive. Eg. Vecna with only 2/4 Spells, even if those Spells were rebalanced so he'd still be strong, he'd be a much more limited and less interesting character. If a character toolkit is expansive enough that most players can't use every tool to its fullest effectiveness, that's actually a great thing.

I swear if BHVR reads this and thinks, "Oh people dont like complicated Killers anymore" Ill be so sad.

Complicated and adding over 30 new powers that will create a balancing mess is something different. Op doesn't want more powers at the same time to give the killer more depth, but basically something like in some games where you can choose between 2 differents paths of abilities.
Also I've seen posts where some people talked about dbd being already hard to learn because of the amount of different powers, that would only get worse because of that.
(Probably unnecessary but nothing against you. I just wanted to make clear that I don't dislike killers being complicated on itself, but I just don't think that's something we should do.)
