nope, the most miserable killer rn.
give me blight, give me twins, or spirit
just not another ghoul
5 -
Well, guessing we're the odd ones but we occasionally do like facing the ghoul. Least when they aren't trying to be a prick.
4 -
yeah. trying to make him tag a window and sending him through it on the second story is awesome. once you learn how his lunge works it's great fun to trick his lunges all over the place and watch him fly off the wrong way
4 -
Nope. Its an awful experience every time.

It's quite fun, even though I don't win sometimes, I enjoy playing against him. Besides, it's been out for just over two months now, so people should know how to play against him by now...
5 -
The best part about the last 2v8 was that I never had to play against the Ghoul.
8 -
Ignore the downvotes btw. This is a killer popular forum, a lot of people will just downvote cause you're against their side. They won't counter anything you say, they'll just downvote. Which says all you need to know.
Ghoul is still bugged. The fact he can still use his power on the other side of a window vault, apply DW, vault the window all in one, and then immediately go for a M1 says everything you need to know about the killer. Pretty clear BHVR didn't add any substantial nerfs to this killer for a reason.
I don't know a single player that actually enjoys Ghoul gameplay/counter play.
edit: agreed - 2v8 was a good reason to que up just to avoid Kaneki.

I'm enjoying it. Besides, there aren't that many good ghoul players anyway. Hardly a quantum leap from weaker, blight or nurse either.

Played against him for the first time today and once was more than enough, don't want to see him again.
4 -
My opinion: It's mixed.
I feel like since I started playing actively again when his pickrate dropped/the nerfs were added my experience hasn't been as bad as some.
I really enjoy his chase theme and I'm decent at looping/forcing pallet breaks and I know that his power is completely disabled for a bit when he breaks a pallet so I know I can hold w to a new tile and usually get away with it
That said, I do not enjoy the scuffed/incredibly generous first hit mechanic. A free hit is one thing, a free hit that doesn't even look like it should hit + holding you in place is just dumb imo.

The Ghoul reminds me of Nurse and Blight, how they are all really good fun to play against as long as the player hasn't mastered them yet.
Play against someone who really knows what they are doing though and it's miserable.

I was a big fan of Rize as she was my favorite character from the show when i watched it years ago. So it was a dream come true that they actually added her into the game with her original voice actress and everything. But that doesnt make me enjoy going against her lol im usually just as annoyed as everyone else and even if they are just "farming" and being friendly its still very annoying being poked every 10 seconds if u are so much as seen across the map lol. I even consider changing my name to "sorry for ghoul" when trying to play as her.

I don't mind it until they are running hex blood favour on haddonfield

Nah, quickly became my most hated Killer. I rather play against the sweatiest Blight players I have faced or against a God Tier Nurse. For Ghoul every Hit feels so cheap, whether it is with his ability or by cancelling it.
Also the most cringe Killer they ever created. The DBD-adaptation of it makes me also never want to watch the Anime.

I like playing against him. I just wished his hitscan injury attack had more counterplay. That‘s the only thing I find frustrating.
3 -
Yes I find going against the Ghoul & going against all of the Killers are fun.
The ghoul first nerf was fine his 2nd nerf was unjustified and people wanting more handholding.Jeez people really need to play both sides and learn to mind game that way they can outplay any Killer or Survivor.
If only they play both sides.
2 -
Yes its fun to juke him into sliding off ledges
3 -
No. An aim assisted hit scan attack feels absolutely miserable to play against.
2 -
Equip Made for This. The first hit shouldn't matter. If you're having a miserable experience for his second hit you might need to brush up a bit on survivor gameplay.
-2 -
Definitely not. Watching paint dry is a more fun experience.
2 -
I don't like him, but don't nerf him, don't do him dirty like skull merchant, who I also hated. Change out how he works if you must, but don't just nerf him because I feel like they'll make him weak, but in a way that doesn't actually make him anymore fun to play against.
2 -
Wouldnt say I love plaing against him, but I prefer him over blight. Ghoul has good mobility but in this state isnt much better thans blight i think and he gets fast injury but he have to chase you down like legion or any m1. Try loop blight he catches up so quickly you cant get him of you and he can down you much faster than ghoul.
4 -
Yea I mean, he's cool to me
1 -
Agreed 💯
2 -
He definitely doesn't have to down survivors like Legion. He destroys Hold W players easily and can instantly vault over pallet or window while enraged and get with this a free hit unless there is a pallet next to that pallet or window
-1 -
He does have to down you like legion. All his ways to down survivor are m1, survivor getting downed because deep wound runs out and his hit with power (just like wesker) after vault which is non existent after nerfs only if survivor after he vaults stays on window/pallet. He destroys hold shift w only if you allow him to and his nerfs make him much easier opponent then stronger a/tiers killers like dracula, larry and billy. His vault speed got nerfed too he was strong only because of bug called kidnaptech and his hitbox after vault + huge 5m hitbox that get you trought wall all of this has been nerfed/fixed.

It was miserable when he first launched and every match was a Ghoul match. Now I hardly ever see him so he doesn't bother me as much. I don't really enjoy going against him, but I guess the one good thing is that it forces me to switch up my play style and do something different, so there's that.
1 -
Ghoul (even though now better than launch) somehow managed to raise higher on my hate to face list in a faster time than literally any other killer if that helps answer your question, but yeah I had fun maybe twice release day and idk if its just his launch leaving a sour taste in my mouth or if its me getting exhausted by how many dash killers are in dbd
1 -
I enjoyed him when he was more OP, back when you didn't need any of his greasy techs.
safe to say that Springtrap will make this killer irrelevant. and on the killer side I'd rather play Legion than Ghoul.
0 -
No, definitely not a fan. If I had my way, I would verse Bubba's all day every day lol.
1 -
I don't play much survivor except when I'm with friends (and I haven't played survivor since blood moon) but the sentiment I've heard from my survivor main friend is that since the nerf (and his pickrate dropped) he's more bearable. I even played against that same friend in a 1v1 as ghoul and he is notably less powerful. Not sure how fun he is when you're actually trying to get an objective done since we just chase each other around in 1v1's and don't try to escape.

An important thing to remember, killers aren't "having fun" being genrushed either and that is more prevalent and has a higher degree if success than the new killer.
-1 -
See? Even though he was busted at start, after the nerfs, all survivors needed was time to learn his counterplay. Sure, he doesn't have as much counterplay as some other killers, but good survivors give me a pretty rough time and I have gone through entire chases without getting an opportunity to enrage.
-4 -
I have no complains going against him.
The only killer I don't enjoy versing are the stealth ones. (I'm not good against them.)
