I'm hoping we get some fresh blood on the forums with the upcoming chapter...please be kind to them!
It would be nice to see some new/differing viewpoints instead of the same people saying the same things ad nauseum, usually with negative connotations.
Most of the time when I see a topic, I know exactly who is going to respond and what they're going to say.
I'm honestly looking forward to reading the comments/opinions brought in by this chapter instead of the same things from the same old jaded, biased, or simply burnt out users.
Please treat new users with respect and listen to what they have to say.

I used to have you mentally tagged as a fellow 'disappointed in Freddy user,' but you're pretty solid.
I've seen you change your mind and/or acknowledge various/differing/new viewpoints before, so you're not really stuck in any single position.

Well, I would say it was, and still is, a justified disappointment. I mean, after almost 6 years without your favorite killer, it is hard to remain optimistic about him.
Thank you for the reply, friend, I appreciate. I always try the best I can to be a positive presence, and to remain respectful during discussions. Maybe it doesn't work every single time, but I do try.

This makes sense as they're going out of their way to make changes primarily with new players in mind. So their feedback would be looked for and collected, and it would be counterproductive to shun or dismiss their pov.
Maybe we can keep the us vs. them down a bit for a couple of weeks? 🤔

Its hard to be optimistic when you know it will take them another x years to make some balance changes they should have done years ago.

New people tend to complain about the same old stuff like tunneling, gens going too fast or whatever. In general if you're satisfied with the game there's not much reason to create an account and post here, that's why most posts have "negative connotations"
what people fail to realize is that criticism is normal and healthy, toxic positivity is far worse i've seen it destroy entire games and communities, trust me it's deadly
