What is going on with Deviousness points?

The past 3 killers in a row have been absolutely pathetic in terms of scoring deviousness. Houndmaster takes so many actions that don't give any score, and the few she does score from either doubled up on extra brutality or gave a woeful 100 points on launch. Ghoul also suffered a similar issue. Now one of the most anticipated killers releases with close to 0 scoring events.

How is it possible to get a 4k trial and score only 63 points? A bug report for the missing 2500 No One Escaped is a different story altogether, but this is unacceptable. Obviously every power is unique so it will never be 1:1 but some killers effortlessly hit 10k even on a loss while others scrape by with chump change on a clear victory. A well played trial should never result in under 5k points. Surely there is a middle ground.

    Yeah. I don't play any killer with poor Deviousness gains. It just doesn't feel good, I feel like I played poorly even if I used their power nonstop and got a 4k. I'm not going to play a killer where I do everything right and don't get rewarded for it.

    BHVR's decisions make no sense here, either. Spirit and Legion get Bloodpoints for simply activating their powers. Meanwhile, The Ghoul gets nothing for traveling with his power, despite the fact that it takes aiming and the game loves to say, "Never mind, I know the icon was red a nanosecond ago but nah, you can't grab that." No. Just no.

    Exactly my issue. I also avoid playing low scoring killers long term because it absolutely stunts progression. There are so many killers who not only need their score events boosted but also need new ones altogether.

    He also gets no chaser emblem since it seems like axe hits and grabbing when the axe in their back doesn't count for it

    I agree, I tried all match to get a deviousness score and the only one I got was "Jumpscare" for 1000 for grabbing someone in the security room. I expected them walking through my axe radius to give some deviousness, but no, it was just 50 hunter points (???). Great missed opportunity on deviousness scores with this killer.
