If you get Hard Tunneled you should probably report the Killer
For a paper trail if Support needs to be contacted as a result of any system action on your account.
Edit: This is with regards to the initial iteration of the Go Next Prevention system enacting leaver penalties for player that get killed too quickly.

tunneling is not a bannable offense.

they state not to report for tunneling as it wastes dev time from actual problems

Edit - disregard - this post isnt about tunneling but about defending against a busted patch feature.

Yeah, they don't care about tunneling, camping or slugging or they would have done something about it already. Reporting people for these things does no good.

Have fun doing that, it's just wasting your time and the killer won't care xD

Did you read the body text?

They have implemented a system where Hard Tunneling prompts system action on a Survivors account. Killers leveraging this knowingly or unknowingly to effectively weaponize administrative action against players can be considered an exploit. (Not that I think it is)

This is about the Go Next prevention feature.

This is not about reporting the Killer for their actions as though they're morally wrong, but as a possible tool to contest any administrative action taken upon your account by leaving effectively a "complaint" about the match.
If Hard Tunneling causes a Survivor to be penalized for "Unsportsmanlike Behavior" and it was outside of their control, I'd say it was then more a result of the actions of the Killer or other Survivors.

They literally put an Abandon System in place so if you get slugged, you can leave… So that's not true. Also We are in Phase 2. Anti Camping and Anti Tunneling System's are coming into play, so that's also not true.

Yeah, but it does flag the matches for review. Since you can get banned for being tunneled now, it may not be a terrible idea to flag those matches and keep them in the system, so to speak. That way you have something to show Support.
That's about the only way you could fight those false bans, from what I see. Not really sure what else you can do except play Civ

What if the dev time IS the problem though?

No it can't - tunneling in any case is allowed no matter when and how fast, if you get someone out in the first 2 minutes of a game and they get punished bhvr failed at programming the system cleanly. They'd rather killswitch and fix it than punishing people that didn't even do anything illegal (considered to rules), it's simply a failure on design side of things because it was clear that this could happen from the start.

Maybe I missed the memo. Where was it announced that tunneling is a bannable offense?
EDIT - ah, I see this is a discussion where apparently getting tunneled can get yourself banned as a survivor. Is this related to the afk system or something? I have not played the update, yet. This sounds like overreacting. However, if it's not and the system is not functioning properly and survivors are getting auto-flagged, the devs need to look into it asap. The OP needs to clarify that, as it sounds like he's saying to report killers for tunneling in general. Some clarification on how this affects survivors regarding flags is really needed.

Go Next Prevention bans you if you die too quickly.
If you get tunneled off hook, you can and will be banned.
BHVR strikes again.

Well That's a massive screw up. Fair enough comment on the OP's part then, but they really need to clarify what they mean - it sounds like a complaint about tunneling itself and not a defensive measure against a busted patch feature.
