Hear me out, heterosexual charm
I just wanted to say I really appreciate how Dead by Daylight includes so many pride flags to represent different identities. It’s one of the things that makes the game stand out, it shows that you care about making everyone feel included. That said, I noticed there’s no straight pride flag. I totally get that straight people haven’t gone through the same struggles as the LGBTQ+ community, and I want to
be clear that I’m not trying to take anything away from that. I fully understand that people in the LGBTQ+ community have been judged, mistreated, and even harmed just for being who they are. That’s something no one should ever have to go through, and it’s good that a game like DBD is helping shine a light on them and give them that support. With that being said, I think if we’re celebrating all players, it would make sense to have something that represents straight players too. Not to take away from anyone else, but just to include everyone. It’s about showing love to the whole community. I know there’s not really an official straight flag out there, but maybe something like the black and white striped one, or the black-to-gray gradient flag could work. Whichever one fits best with the game’s style. Just something simple that lets straight players feel seen, too. Thanks for reading and for always listening to feedback. Y’all are doing a great job with the game, and I love being part of the community. Thank you and have a wonderful day!
If any of these has a bad origin, meaning its mocking The pride flag then just use a different one that represents correctly and has good intentions

I agree with you, but the 2nd picture that is the black and white striped has a bad reputation of people using that flag to mock the LGBTQ community, so I don’t think that the black-and-white striped flag should be used. but as of what I’ve seen, the first picture you showed of the black and gray stripes has been used positively. so if they do decide to add the heterosexual flag, I feel like the best option the gray one.

oh okay thanks for letting me know! So yeah this one would be the safest option as a charm for the game, hopefully this gets added to the game to include everyone who supports the LGBTQ+ community

Pride flags were created as symbols of visibility, unity, and resistance for communities that have been marginalized, discriminated against, criminalized, or erased. LGBTQ+ pride, for example, arose in the context of fighting for basic rights, safety, and dignity THIS in many places, still are denied to LGBTQ+ people. Straight people does not meet those qualifications.
In public discourse and on social media, heterosexual pride flags are frequently linked to far-right movements, anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric, and even hate groups. This gives the flag a bad reputation, as it is often perceived as a symbol of intolerance rather than genuine pride.
That said, not everyone who displays or creates a heterosexual pride flag intends harm, you may simply misunderstand the social and history behind it. But overall, the flag is widely viewed negatively, especially within LGBTQ+ communities and among allies.
So I rather not please.
And to answer your question, we are not celebrating all players, we are celebrating the marginalized ones that need our support.
I get it, It can be confusing, You need like to understand a good chunk of history behind those flags see why.-1 -
I doubt that the devs will add a straight flag, as it would end up being used negatively by a bunch of trolls. If you really want to let people know that you're not gay, maybe you could ask for an ally flag. It would affirm your sexuality, whilst not being useful for trolling queer people.
