Error when purchasing Premium Rift Pass
SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
I got an error, "RIFT_POPUPGENERICERROR_TITLE", attempting to purchase the Premium Rift Pass.
PLATFORM: PlayStation 4
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURRED:
I hit the button to purchase the Premium Rift Pass. I then confirmed the purchase. The little entity wheel spun and spun and spun, carefully considering my request, before explaining to me "RIFT_PopupGenericError_MESSAGE" . It sent me back to the Quest page. I went back into the Rift, where the Premium Rift was clearly still shown as locked and it still showed the option to purchase the Premium Rift Pass.
For a second time, I confirmed wanting to purchase the Premium Rift Pass. Despite spitting out the same error, the Premium Rift is shown as unlocked and I no longer have the option to purchase the Premium Rift Pass. As far as I can tell, all of the Premium Rift items are in my inventory.
I need to know that, despite getting an error, I do indeed own the Premium Rift. I got the same error message twice, the first time nothing unlocked and the second time everything did, but I got an error rather than a "purchase successful" message, the game doesn't send receipts, and I just don't want to have the items yanked from my inventory later with the reason being "Sorry, you didn't successfully purchase the Rift when it was live and you can't purchase it now because it's expired." It's not like I can point to 1k fewer Auric Cells as proof of purchase in this video, because I unlocked the Premium Rift at tier 100.
Basically, I just don't want to get in trouble or have my Premium Rift items taken away because of an error in DbD's system. I have the video of this error occurring when purchasing the Pass, the video shows the Premium Rift going from locked to unlocked, and the premium items are currently in my inventory, so I own the Premium Rift, right? There's no world in which the Premium Rift isn't mine?
(Also, you guys should fix this or at least give the user a proper error that gives some hint as to what happened. Maybe I got two completely different errors, but because there's no information in them it looks like the same error twice. I have no idea.)

Wait, hold on a sec. This was more than a bug report, it was a question. I'd like to know whether or not I own the Premium Rift. It would really suck to find out later, after this Rift is over, that something went wrong and I won't be allowed to keep it. This video is proof I bought it, even if it spit out an error, right? I told the game to buy the Premium Rift, the stuff now shows as unlocked. The fact I never got a message telling me my purchase was successful doesn't damn me, does it?

I am having the same exact problem; it will not let me purchase it at Tier 100. I have the same circumstances as listed above except for two things; I am on Xbox, and I was’t able to purchase the pass and keep getting the error listed over and over again. I just purchased enough cells for this exclusively and I cannot even use them :/.

Confirming the same bug has occurred multiple times for me. PC player at Level 100 in the rift.

Same problem happning here with Steam at Lv100, might not be helpful but when I try to buy it through store, bundles, primium rift pass bundle I get a different error message as showed.

Happening to me aswell, i've tried verifying game files, etc, only thing i haven't tested is deleting the game, but idk if i'll lose my progress then
