Why did Springtrap not get his own map offering?

Nostromo and Toba have their own offerings even though they’re in the same realm. What the heck?

Yes! I have never understood this either. I'd love to know the reasoning behind this.

I can only imagine that Alien and Five Guys at Frederick's had different conditions on their contracts with the respective IP holders

Sure, but it’s still weird. Maybe they only got the license to the first film, so they couldn’t lift any in-universe locations?

    In my humble opinion, either:

Nostromo’s realm gets a rename, since it’s functionally pointless for it to be Dvarka Deepwood.

    Or

Nostromo’s offering goes. The offering itself is weird anyway. Most if not all map offerings are small objects you could reasonably hold in your hand, but Nostromo’s are… two whole-ass blast doors??

I honestly think it gave the devs an easier time making the map without having to come up with unique tiles and clutter all over the map like how every realm does. I heard a while ago that the devs don’t always put maps in every new DLC because they cost the most amount of time to make and doesn’t make them money. It makes sense why recent maps (and license maps) have been expansions of other realms because the devs can reuse a lot of their assets. Even Alien’s map uses the same structure type of loops as singularity’s map (jungle gyms and fillers). I’m guessing maybe Scott liked the atmosphere of greenville a lot out of all the original realms so they chose to make the map on the withered isle realm.

it's because of the map changes I think. there's literally 0 point in even bothering now
