Getting blind from firecrackers

Hey there!

Just wonder if there were changes to the firecrackers recently.

As a killer, I carried a survivor and saw another survivor in front of me who dropped a firecracker (I saw it). Instantly I looked in the air but I still got blind.

So.. Am I just too bad in looking up or is there something else I am missing?

    I honestly don’t know. I was playing Killer earlier and I tried to look up and it didn’t work but when I was playing Survivor earlier, they were able to avoid the firecracker blind by looking up.

    The best thing to do would be to turn around unless they time it perfectly to where you’re caught in the animation.

    Basically you have to predict that and look up before he drops the firecracker. Its pretty much a insta-blind like in the old days

    As long as it doesn't make you drop the survivor you're carrying, you should be just fine. And yes, I've noticed it too, being blinded even when looking up. Happens with some flashlights also.
