Rework Unknown he's garbage

Rework Unknown. Why would you ever want to play Unknown when Springtrap is better in every way? More lethal power, better teleports better pressure literally a straight upgrade compared to unknown

    I feel like they're not really comparable? Unknown is a ranged killer that plays around not giving survivors line of sight and being confusing and Springtrap is a stealth killer with a ranged attack that combos into a grab.

    You can say Springtrap is better which probably true but that doesn't make Unknown obsolete because they don't occupy the same niche.

    Nobody is being forced to play every single killer in the game. If the killer is not for you, you have dozens of other at your disposal

    Because theyre 2 entirely different killers?

    For mobility, Springtrap needs to go to fixed locations which in some cases can work against him, and also Survivors can take advantage of this as well. Unknown has a bit more control of where he can teleport, and also an insta teleport on demand with no range limit.

    For their projectile, Springtrap's projectile is faster but cant go as far and has a MUCH smaller hitbox. Unknown has an AoE that can hit multiple people and is much more threatning even at medium distances. Not to mention he always moves at 115%.

    Also he has a dog (supposedly)

    remind me again how Springtrap can phase his axe through solid matter to hit multiple people again

    Still the reveal is stupid, you get most likely 2 shots after first one and survivor can reveal you sometimes same as ghoustface when he is 100 covered behind something like wall and sees you from third person this makes unknown and ghoustface more harder to play as.

    Your seriously overestimating indirect hits since it's requires 3 hits to down and a miss requiring 2 more hits to complete thanks to the super quick cleanse rate and extremely generous cleanse buffer of 3 seconds when you stop looking at unknown.

    While his Tp speed is vastly superior his limited tp spots and need for placement consumes to much time not to mention the jank husk placement restrictions when placing near an objective.

    Just because he's 4.6 all the time does not make him good Springtrap zoning is way stronger due to his lethality even while holding at 3.9 speed and does not lose distance while holding either.

    and you seriously underestimate how much being 4.4 hurts springtrap. if he wants to be 4.6 he needs to throw axe away and go through throw&retrieval animations and associated slowdowns to get it back.

    unknown is way more punishing but he can also do way more - snowball the game through multihits for example.

    Being 4.4 does not hurt ST Springtrap has plenty of Haste addon options to make him faster then 4.6 even at base he has more pressure, stealth and lethality than unknown ever could and there is no/barely noticeable slowdown when retrieving the axe.

    If your getting multihits on unknown then it's a major skill issue on the survivors part he cannot snowball due to his extreme lack of lethality, stealth and tells when he tps.

    you do realize that neither of the haste addons really help to get a lineup for power because they all work while he doesnt have it, right?

    You do realize multihits mean nothing when he still has to get 3 hits to down and if they split up you can only get one right?

    no they actually do because that lets him counter body blocks consistently or multihit people while proxycamping.

    something springtrap is absolutely garbage at.

    Springtrap axe is actually refined enough he can just swerve and hit the front survivor I know I've done this recently.

    Unknown still needs 2 hits to down in injured and a healthy survivor can just block the pathway of unknown not even allowing to get near enough for a shot also admitting his multihits is great for camping is not a good look for him.

    good luck thinking springtrap is actually overall better than any existing counterparts, i suggest you even go ahead and sink a lot of time into him, you're in a for a sore disappointment

    Unknown is maybe little better than springtrap but he is harder in my opinion, easyest way to play unknown is chase base using his power from smaler distance to make it harder to doge or zone survivor to get hit, in proxycamping uknown isnt that stronger than springtrap he needs 2 hits which costs you around 12+ seconds to hit them and even his area attack is easier to doge from distance or hitting survivor directly is very punishing, most times you hit survivor by survivor running into your shot or it bounces from object/survivor and he just runs into it, his teleport is stronger but can be countered by removing his clones for teleport an he needs to cover more map because if he stays in one location his teleport wont be that good for map preasure, clones will overwrite. Still it will take time to see how big is counterplay for springtrap his axe is harder than huntress hatched from longer distance and smaler hitbox and his wallhacking reveal doesnt have much counterplay from his side too and survivors can use his doors to travel across whole map which can cause some troubles for him and his stealth is like dredge before his stealth buff he is very loud. I think good survivors on indoor map can cause big problem for him with cameras reveal almost like turets for xeno, when you know killers position with his aura reveal even not strong loopers can cause you huge problems and huge time waste which can be very bad for killer like him.
