The sweet spot for cosmetics sales

I'm sure BHVR has its own sales data that it uses to set the prices — this is just feedback from someone who likes to shop.

For three-piece cosmetics (reg price 1200 auric cells), it's very rare for me to see a set where I like each of the pieces so much that I would pay 400 cells for them individually. Usually, there's one piece I really like, one piece I'm kind of okay with, and one piece I either don't like or don't care about at all.

So, when I see a 3-piece on sale for 840 cells, my main thought is, "Neat — I have a chance to pay an extra 40 cells for something I don't want."

But, if the sale price dropped to 800 cells, my thought would be more like, "Hm. If I pay for this right now instead of saving iri cells for later, I get a free gift." And that feels more exciting.

If you want to buy more they get to expensive sadly.

These prices are marketing tactics. There always needs to be a bit money left which you can´t use. So you want to get more cells to use it up.

You should be able to just buy a thing you want. Costs 1080 - ok, i pay 1080.
