How do I get more axe grabs as Spingtap?

Defienetly follow survivor in straight line, because running in straight line is the only possible way to counter grab, because unlike Huntress Spingtrap is faster while aiming, faster in cooldown and turns into 115 % so even more speed. Theoretically you can run perks that hindres, but a lot of them only works on basic attacks.

You can't. Depends if the Survivor knows that they can remove the axe or not, but there is a little tricks. Survivors, who know they can remove the axe, stop removing it once they're close to a pallet or window, because if they keep removing it, they won't be able to do their desired action, so you can try and do it while they stop for the short period of time.

I would say haste perks and enduring/spirit fury combo.

Best perk for axe grab is blood favor as it makes pallets useless for 16 seconds.
Vaulting or using a pallet reset the axe removal time which is 8s. Use the common, greasy paper plate add on to gain 15%, meaning a survivor will have to to maintain the removal action for 9.2s.
You can use bamboozle or other perks to block window/follow them faster.
The best way to do it, is to get as close as possible before throwing the axe, use the basekit undetectable to approach a survivor and axe him for up close. The closer you are, the easier the grab will be.
Even too Springtrap has a 16m range with his axe, you should get as close as possible before throwing it as it makes the follow up easier in any cases. Long range shot are best to give a love tap before leaving or try to end a chase quickly/fight a pre runner. Not ideal, use your doors to get to someone else if too much distance is between you and the survivor.
