Anti tunnel idea
- Bring back the gen completion "bug" from a little while ago, wherein after a survivor is sacrificed, the next generation counts for two gens. To make this not completely unfair, have it automatically complete the Gen with the next-most progress, and do not let it activate if there are only 2 gens left.

It's not "punishing the killer for doing [their] objective" though. It's rebalancing the game so that behaviors that Behaviour (heh) want to discourage, are actually discouraged. If you don't tunnel, this won't activate, and if you do tunnel, deserved lmao
Punishing killers for doing their job would be like, losing BP for every sacrifice or something

That WOULD be punishing the Killer for doing their job, because that would be discouraging the Killer from doing their job.

The role is called Killer, not Tunneler. You want to tunnel, call up Elon Musk and apply to the Boring Company.

If you want to argue that Tunneling isnt Killing a Survivor, then I really dont know what to tell you. Its just categorically incorrect.

You don't need to tunnel in order to kill a survivor. It's just like how dining and dashing is illegal, but eating at a restaurant isn't. Saying you got arrested for "going to a restaurant" is dishonest when it's how you went to the restaurant that got punished

then also make killer hooks count as several if the killer has under a certain amount of hooks before 4 gens are done

ofc you dont, but it IS the most efficient way to get it done. Unless you run certain perks.

And it shouldn't be, and the devs have said they don't want it to be, and they've tried making it less appealing to tunnel by buffing other strategies with the result being that killers use those other buffed strategies alongside tunneling. Which brings us back to the entire point of this thread, giving killers who tunnel the stick, because the carrot isn't working

Can you seriously think of no buffs to [things that are not, in and of themselves, tunneling] between that date and today?

Then if should be easy for you to name the changes that specifically are a carrot for not tunneling.
You should mention those instead of stalling by listing of the Age of my Account instead. chop chop.

6.1 saw an increase in tunneling despite base kit buffs to killer and buffs to many killer perks - and despite claims from a number of players that buffing killer base kit would reduce tunneling.
Grim Embrace, a perk whose activation condition is to spread hooks, was buffed to provide over a minute of total gen block, and killers still choose to tunnel to a point where BHVR have put anti-tunnel on the road map. Those are just two examples I could remember off the top of my head.
I bring up the age of your account because I find your requests for me to name buffs to non-tunnel-related killer strats to be incredibly disingenuous. You've been around for times when killers had it FAR worse, you should by all rights know of many changes that benefitted non-tunneling play styles.
