Go Next Because?
You went down first? There were four Coconut Scream Pies and one Lucky Lips offering. You go down first and when the killer goes away you attempt three times and die? What is wrong with you? I'm not even trying to kill you.
Next match stuck it through. Someone went down just as fast but no one gave up. Was it because there wasn't a luck offering? No one ran up to me trying to die. Maybe they were just stubborn and wouldn't give in to the toxicity.

My best bet is it probably had something to do with two things.
- You're playing a killer that quite frankly is a low budget huntress and is quite frankly nothing special to go against.
- The map that that player went next on is absolutely TERRIBLE. It's dead zone galore and the lamest loops as most new maps are starting to have. That's just my thoughts though.

So prejudgement.
-4 -
I can't tell you the amount of people who just hate map design. And I honestly am just sick of other players acting like you're not allowed to say anything about it.
3 -
You can say all you like that is what this forum is for. If that's the case here then it was prejudgement based on purly the map and killer. They did not see if the killer will play fair they and their friend (the DC after being rescued from the hook. They too attempted three tries) brought a luck offering just to leave.
2 -
luck offerings are about to go through the roof.
3 -
Regardless, they brought a luck offering and probably because 80% of the time the game is sending you to trash maps. I want to die too whenever they give me that map or 75% of the other ones. However, they may of tried to kobe and thought they had to commit after trying once or twice. Now if they gave up and just let you smack them down, then yeah, they might be being a bit over the edge.

I believe many have stated as much. A nice loophole left by the Dev's by not thinking.
6 -
There was no second hook for them, they died on first.
0 -
does closing app at the offering screen count against you? Just curious.
0 -
I've heard from others on the forum that it doesn't. I don't know that to be true or not. If it is true that's another loophole the Dev's need to close.
2 -
It doesn't, but luck offerings are secret now, so people wouldn't dodge at the loading screen because of that.
2 -
I agree. Hopefully reworking luck offerings like maybe a higher chance to get a better item out of a chest is on their mind, and the offering screen. Agreed.
3 -
Who’s that pokemon!!!

I wouldn't mind luck offerings and related perks to allow unhook attempts but without taking away hook time.
I understand where the Dev's were coming from with the 1st hook stage and attempts to unhook. But it ended up killing new players that didn't know any better and just saw the attempt unhook button. It sure had legit uses, like letting the last survivor have a chance at hatch. But too many took it as a protest button.
3 -
I completely agree. I feel the same way.
3 -
I mean you're playing The Bugtronic. He's invisible coming out of doors, has a p2w skin and is glitched out to where you can't tell where he's aiming with his axe. Also look at your lame perks, running Lethal Persuer lol
Maybe start playing the Killer in a fun way and you won't have people trying to leave the match.
-7 -
Default skin and I believe the invisible was patch in 9.0.1. I don't know how the survivor knew what perks I had considering they gave up so fast.
As for you last statement. I'm clearly playing in a way that doesn't kill, how did you miss that? I posted two screen shots. I even left the hook and went to the other side of the map.

Keep in mind, the only reason the guy in the first game CAN try to unhook himself was because of the luck offering. If no one brings that, they have to stay on hook until rescue. They'd then generally understand they're in a chill game.
5 -
Yeah, I have instances of that too. They typically stay under the hook until they realize I'm ignoring them.
4 -
Might just be sick of Springtrap. God knows I am
2 -
No it does not
Either way again I will say the obvious that people have repeatedly downvoted me for; you cant make people play matches they don't want to. The anti go next only slows their progress and I have not seen a single luck offering all week, pretty much only cakes for obvious reasons.
But I have seen plenty of survivors who clearly want out and just do gens in killers faces forcing them to act or go down easily or they simply DC (which is the best solution as at least you get a bot).
The biggest reason I feel demotivated in a match is the killer I am against, could be the same for that survivor?
-2 -
I take a Spring trap any day than another Ghoul. Ghoul Im already ready to run in front of a hook if someone goes down before first gen gets done.
-1 -
Yeah nobody seems to enjoy facing him.
0 -
There are no amount of coconut pies that could keep me willingly in a match with a nurse on permanent red ping. Especially cause im a 2016 player, I literally dont care about the BP, only an enjoyable time is important, everything else is secondary.
3 -
Nostromo terrible? Man, you need to learn how to loop because there are so many useful pallets… + the ice traps. It's really more survivor sided than it is killer sided.

Gentlemen, they are both just awful. Ghoul can get deleted and Temu Robbie the Rabbit can go play in the ball pit.

if you load in as Billy on that map it’s gg because there’s clutter everywhere.
2 -
First game luck offering. How lucky am I?
No one is forcing you to play DBD. Stop forcing others into matches with bots. Stop forcing others to play 3v1s. Bots are not a replacement for a player trying to play. Bots are placeholders that many killers will simply ignore over a player.
Springtrap is the new popular killer. You may be sick of seeing him but you clicked ready fully knowing the high chance of facing him.
4 -
Because he is popular. Popular killers get played more than others. Some want to grind the achievements but grabing survivors in the control room is proving difficult.
This happens with every new killer that becomes popular. Being sick of a killer is still not an excuse to ruin the game for four other players.
3 -
I have no clue what world you live in if you think that's a survivor sided map. If it was so survivor sided…then why does everyone run to main for that one pallet that is moderately decent? There no sense of safety anywhere on that maps except for the occasional long wall. I'd be more inclined to believe you if the game would just give good rng and show me how strong the map is.
1 -
no there are some pretty strong loops on there.
2 -
I never said anything at all about myself leaving matches, I tried to explain why someone else may be.
Don't straw-man me
The fact is, people do get forced into matches they don't want to play, you can get angry all you want but it is the truth. But hey, lets just keep doing the delusional thing of forcing people to stay in matches they want out of, as that will totally work, right?
0 -
Strawmanning? Was I misrepresenting your argument?
Even if you don't personally, you certain are excusing for it. If a player can't handle a match then they are free not to queue up. They are not forced to play a match. They made a choice to play the match and are expected to follow through with that choice.
0 -
cool so should killers also just be able to leave whenever because “they’re not feeling it”? Everyone plays matches they don’t particularly care for due to x reason, but it’s a PvP game. That’s the nature of the beast.

I had a game today where I had teammates DC very early because it was Ghoul
Then we proceeded to win the match anyway.
It's honestly hilarious how better and more reliable bots are than randoms who give up immediately are. DCing went from insta losing as survivor to making some matches more winnable and isn't that a crazy thought.
3 -
Honestly sometimes the bots are better!
1 -
Totally. It's a mistake to ignore bots when playing as Killer because they're such busy bees. They do more gens than my Survivor teammates!
3 -
Calls one of the strongest pallets in the game "MODERATELY DECENT".
Oh my god… I understand the low escape rates.0 -
Better than someone not trying? Yes.
Better than someone actually trying? No.
1 -
Didn't say it was. I'm simply offering a possible explanation.
1 -
Definitely wouldn't break my heart.
1 -
Neither did I. Yes, that's a possible explanation, I just disagree with those that think that way.

This is what you people don't seem to understand, you can ask "should killers…" but the fact is, they still do leave matches they don't want to be in. I get DCing killers fairly regularly, or they throw a tantrum and go AFK if the match isn't going well for them.
The same applies for survivors but in that case you don't know what killer you will get and the matches play very differently with different killers. It is clear from the start when some survivors clearly don't want to be in a match and forcing them to stay in isn't working.
Not making a moral argument for or against, something that seems to confuse a lot of people. The fact is, you can add any mechanic you want to force people to stay in matches they don't want to be in but you cant give them the will to actively participate, so it's redundant anyway. You're just prolonging someone leaving a match they've already effectively left.
Don't know why people have such a problem with understanding what I am saying here?
0 -
It’s not a lack of understanding, I very much understand. You think I haven’t experienced salty killers? I’m curious though why you expect others to understand or care about your experience when you don’t care about theirs.
0 -
When did I ask anyone to care?
Again, not sure you get my point if you think I am asking for anyone to care, the fact is you cant make people play matches they don't want to and no forced participation will work. It clearly isn't either, it is just prolonging people leaving matches they effectively were not in in the first place.

Killers DCing is just as bad as survivor. Even if killers were replaced by AI like survivors.
