Do you give yourself up?
When you load into a match as survivor and there’s only 2-3 survivors in the game do you just give yourself up to the killer and just move on to the next game or do you try to survive as much as possible during the game?
I try when there’s a 3 man but if there’s a 2 man I just go to the killer and point to a hook.

If the loading screen is taking awhile, 9/10 someone crashed. Only once or twice have all 4 Survivors loaded.
I used CTRL+ALT+DELETE. I lose my offering, but I keep my items.
If I get duped in to played a 3v1, I will do the best I can, but realize I'm going to lose. I've only ran into 2 or 3 empathetic Killers who allowed us to gens and escape for 2 hooks each.

Of course I try. Mama didn't raise no quitter.

This.

I do the same cause this is a sure indicator someone else's client froze up and since they aren't fixing that problem this is a workaround to not have to get railroaded into 3v1 2v1 games.
If I am in a 3v1 I'll see how it goes if the killer is being cool about and not try harding tunneling/camping and lets saves happen, then yeah I'll keep playing. If they do try hard I'll just let the poor guy die on the hook rather than farm him, so nobody wins. I'll just keep working on a gen until he finds me then that is that.

Same reason why I don't quit smoking

Depends.
3v1:
While the game is not balanced for a 3v1, it is still winnable. If the Killer is tryharding, I honestly dont care then. I will just sit on a gen, even if he is nearby and let him hook me. But if it looks reasonable to actually play, I will do so.
2v1:
Not winnable. I just go searching for the Killer, either he lets us farm or not. If not, at least I am not wasting time. Out of around 10 2v1s I had, only 2 times the Killer did not want to let us farm.
1v1:
Yeah, I just sit on a gen and see if the Killer wants to let me live or not, lol. The one time it happened, I was allowed to live.

Depends on a) my mood and b) if the killer is reasonable enough

I try regardless. If I end up in a 1v1 match, I've never had the fortune of being allowed to live, usually the killer won't even let me do a gen they just want to move onto the next game. Sometimes I tap the gen in hopes the killer will destroy it and farm points from there but they just don't get it or don't want to. I figure its faster than downing and letting me wiggle or slapping and letting me recover. NOTE TO KILLERS: DRIBBLING PEOPLE INCREASES THEIR WIGGLE METER SO IF YOU WANT A SURVIVOR TO WIGGLE OUT YOUR GRASP FASTER JUST DRIBBLE THEM. (I've had a lot of killers let me wiggle out their grasp but no one except my friends have dribbled me)
2v1 I still try, I've had a couple wins in 2v1. Always gotta hope the other survivor is willing to try like you.
3v1, so long as my other teammates try, its fine too.

I hate going 3v1, or less. Even if it doesn't happen to me as often, I get hella triggered by it, even when I'm playing killers.
When it's 3v1 and I'm playing a survivor, 60% of the time I just give up, get killed and move on. 2v1 or 1v1 is automatically a "just kill me" moment.
When I'm the killer and up against 3 survivors, I feel really bad for them because I know how it feels. I just let them do gens.

As a survivor: 3v1 I play regular. 2v1/1v1 I try to get the killer to farm.
As a killer: 3v1 I play regular but don't try as hard. 2v1 or 1v1, farmville.

no i just disconnect because why should a killer be handed free points for the devs doing a ######### job at coding the matchmaking in this game? also why should i be forced to possibly farm because of this? blame the devs if i immediately dc if only 3 people spawn in. i want a match with 4 people. its not my fault or my problem. blame the devs. :D

As killer, when I encounter 3v1 I play normal. Usually I knock someone down and they rage quit. Of the other 2 there’s usually a locker-hopper and a worker. I kill the hider if possible. As for the worker, I keep my distance and nod so as not to scare them. Once the hider is dead, I will actively HELP the worker find the hatch. They usually learn to trust me when I stand next to pallets to give them stun points.

I always try to survive too, even if 2-3 men have disconnected.
I never ask (and never will) for farming, but sometimes the killer is nice enough for leaving me doing a gen or two, having some points here and there, but at the end I always give him my sacrifice.
I don't care about dying, I play for having fun before anything else.
