How do I counter Ghoul?
Seriously, this killer is so frustraiting and unfun… what can you do againts decent ghoul in soloQ? Any tips?

That's the neat part you don't.
The best you can do is hope for an indoor map where he can't use his power as effectively.

I just had Midwich vs ghoul and it did not help at all, still could travel and end chases effectevily as if outdoor map :(

I pray I get an indoor map. I just try to genrush him as fast as possible. If I die during that, oh well. Did my best. 😅

Also, should I just put map offerings for indoors hoping it's a ghoul? (it's good chance it's ghoul I see him more than Springtrap)

Midwich is tricky cuz it's the hold W map on the killer that holds W harder than you do, it can still be okay but you really gotta stick to the classrooms and not be in the hallways where Ghoul can catch you in a couple seconds.

How every killer by looping him, now its trickier he is currently buuged as hell, after breaking palett he loses 1 token instead of two, hitting hits while flicking with leap cancels hit, for some reason I got kidnaped teched as survivor against him etc. after fnaf chapter he is mess, some bugs can help you and others can end you faster. I would say looping his is the same as blight just dont run into nowhere and on longer loops like shack be avare what he is doing he can cut you off, this has counter bigger than blight because ghoul cant down you with power only deep wound you and get enraged for one more leap and faster vault speed when leaping but he still is closer to m1 than blight so looping him is easier in my opinion. Lots of your options are predicted by map and spawning loop tiles rng( today I got coldwind and only one jungle gym, normaly as killer Im getting there atleast two but this map was weak as hell thank god for event power and him not respecting paletts). If he tries to cut you off with power be aware whats around you and where he will end with leap cancel so you can change direction to safer place and he cant hit you fast and must loop you, his vault when enraged is tricky if you get kidnap teched (it should have been fixed but I got it, you are locked in place like he would get grab but instead he is just vaulting window fast this leads to no counter normaly if you vault shack from inside and he vaults behind you if you hug the sack you can make it back to window (cu de gra or what my french is it called can get you), another thing is if he didnt hit you with leap and you arent in deep wound and you are injure you can deny him vault if he aims to you with second leap just after vault get to vivdow edge he will hit you into deep wound and be stuck behind window/palett (this doesnt work if he uses first leap on you to just pull to you, first leap cant injure you and dont do it if you run dead hard or otr you will loose it/wont be able to save you). He is just as m1 with good mobility and ability to injure you fast, indoor maps are your friend he cant change direction that much and blocking line of sight isnt bad idea too just take in ming he is still faster than nurse,huntress when you do this to him just play against him as against blight(withou needing to fear about droping palets he cant destroy them when he vaults them, theres one addon but it must be his last leap and that addon is rare to see), he is just blight with more space to counter (he cant down you with his power only get closer to you and end his power to get a hit).

Best advice I can give despite my utter hatred for them is:
-if they have their tentacles up at a pallet or window, greed and keep going, they are trying to get a vault hit
-if they dont have them up, throw it down and call out the m1
but it's easier said than done, and this means you found a good loop that he cant just slide/bodyblock in the first place.
I've tried my hardest to learn and adapt, I just find I don't enjoy him at all. I'd rather Nurse/Blight any day over him.3 -

Most ghouls I face with this combo give up chasing me because they realise they can't win the chase in 2 seconds.

There isn't much you can really do against Ghoul, to be honest, this killer is unfair.
Best thing you can do is get lucky with the maps and don't waste time, make sure the gens get done as fast as possible.

You basically pray the ghoul is bad which is most of them. The first hit can't be avoided.
The second hit is a 50/50 at every pallet. If you pre drop, killer fast vaults and hits you. If you greed pallet, killer just M1s you. So you have to bait a pallet stun in a standoff like going against Legion. But we all know how easy it is for killer to dodge that, stepping back a bit and vault pallet. But with ghoul he downs you instead of deep wounding and running away like Legion.
In the hands of a skilled player, Ghoul is just as good as Blight but substantially easier to play. Fortunately or unfortunately, because so many players know ghoul is both easy to play and S tier, you have a ton of low skill ghoul players that bring ghoul down to B or A tier due to their own mechanical incompetence. The downside being that you play against him in so many matches that you just want to go next.

Once he gets that initial hit he is essentially an m1 killer with high mobility and you can loop him like one. Think of him like a Legion that you can't hold W against. Checkspot windows and pallets before running in front of them to prevent giving him an enraged vault.

The first hit is more free than Legion's first hit. That's already lazy design. For his second hit, he's far more oppressive than Legion cause once he fast vaults the pallet he can down you with hardly any cooldown. So if you don't pre drop he'll just M1 you for greeding, which turns even God loops into 50/50s at every pallet. You have to bait a pallet stun in a standoff. And if you miss which is very easy if the killer fakes going forward and retreats, then he gets a free second hit.
Ghoul is just blatantly OP and broken pay to win DLC.

I would think of him more than blight even his leaps cant down you his mobility is very clouse to blights (still more poeple have fun against blight than ghoul which is more busted killer in general and he can do much more than ghoul).

always be at a strong part of the map where there are multiple vaults/pallets. some maps are pretty desolate and there's not much you can do. some generators are also in large dead zones and again, there's not much you can do when he shows up. that's kind of the problem with ghoul as he invalidates distance and just forces you to be at a strong area of the map at all times.

I simply play Resi, stay injured and just try to genrush him.

Yeah, he is not even close to being M1 killer. Legion is close to be one, Kaneki is far from it.
M1 killer can't counter hold W, safe pallets and body block you on many loops….
Kaneki is M1 killer like old Nurse was. Technically yes, but no.2 -
I just rat as much as I can and try to let the strong looper lead him around loops while I grind gens. Same as I do with Trickster.

Wraith is an m1 killer who can counter hold w and body block you at many loops.
The only thing that makes an m1 killer an m1 killer is whether their power can down you and Kaneki's can't. He has to m1 you. Which means he is loopable.0 -

I just think it's false to act like "he is just M1 killer", when he doesn't act like one. His kit doesn't really leave tools to use against him. Also his vault can down you, so not sure how that works…
Wraith? I can force him to uncloack on every pallet and window, also body block him in door frames. Also very easy to take protection hits against. Healing perks and Sprint burst are also wery strong against Wraith.
Tell me exactly what to do against Kaneki in chase, because most players can only give vague (useless) advices.
In reality:- can't use windows (every Kaneki use Bamboozle, or he even has addon for it)
- can't hold W
- can't double back (he can fully cancel his slide for some reason)
- can't use safe pallets (he gets either free down, or at least 50/50)
- can't take protection hits
So I really want to know, what about his kit can be used to counter him. I can find something for every killer in DBD except him.

I don't think there's any reliable counter. The best advice I can give is to just.. I don't know.
Use W, and hope that the killer misses the early tentacle attack; If the killer hits you and you are injured, then Made For This and hope that you can reach a safe loop or remain around it.Either way, I do doubt you can last more than ~30 seconds against an average player, because the tentacle hits are ridiculously huge (seems to be higher than Huntress' hatchets from survivor's POV) and pallets or windows aren't gonna work.
So, yeah.
Made For This, otherwise call it a day, I suppose.. Or, always bless a nearby totem with Boon: Dark Theory. I guess, you could loop the killer for a little while with it in combination with Made For This.
That however already means two perk slots, both of them being barely used against classic M1 or other killers.0 -
