Bp incentives still don't match player demand
Currently, at least for me, there is no queue bonus for either side. This should mean that the queues are perfectly balanced and no incentive is needed, correct?
If that is the case, then why am I waiting almost 15 minutes in killer queue but can get a survivor game almost instantly? Why are the incentives still not matching the queue times? Even at such an obvious imbalance, they are not even remotely giving an appropriate bonus to the side that desperately needs more players, or am I supposed to believe that 10+ minutes for killer and a few seconds for survivors is what is considered perfectly balanced?
Today isn't the first time this is happening. Queue incentives haven't matched waiting times for a long time now. Earlier this week for example, they were just as bad and all survivors got was a measly 1.25x modifier.
The game really needs more people queuing up as survivor and obviously such low or non-existent incentives won't convince players to play the less popular role.

Yeah, I've noticed the bonus seems low, considering the fast survivor queues and the unbearable killer queues.

I assume that can happen because your survivor and killer mmr are not the same so you can have situations where you personally get no bp incentive, but someone in a different mmr range does.
Overall, the bp incentive should also just go higher. If there are 10+minute killer queues why can't the incentive spike to 3.0x-4.0x? Some people also do not care about bp enough to ever switch roles so an xp incentive would also help.

They've not been right since the original 2v8 tbh. 1.50x modifier certainly isnt gonna get me to play survivor much when im still gonna earn more on killer even with a wait.

- Killer queue here on the European server is a nightmare. The other day, I literally spent an hour playing three killer matches, not because the matches were long, but because I was in the lobby half the time.They need to better incentivize survivors to play (maybe a skin that can be unlocked EXCLUSIVELY by playing survivor), if it continues like this it will only get worse. Many years ago (when I started playing) it was exactly the opposite.

Even with 1.5 bonus on killer I still wait 5+min it just doesn't work, bonus on survivor is always 1.25 it's too low, if I see 1.25 on survivor I still want to queue killer it's not worth it, incentives don't achieve anything in that case

im not exactly sure how queues work but i havent really gotten any overly long queues, even with 1.5x on surv as killer, ususally it takes 1-2 minutes for me.

Killer que is so long because nobody wants to play survivor any longer. Its no fun, killers have to much power, you never escape any longer hardly ever. I have played this game only for the last 5 years and can attest to how much less fun it is being a survivor. I would play killer if I could just to be able to win but it gives me vertigo.

I stopped playing killer and only play survivor now. LOL! I feel it is the opposite. Especially if you go against a SWF group. Pretty much cannot make ANY mistakes as killer.

This has been reported since August of last year and repeatedly denied by devs. This would imply an intentional change to nerf bloodpoints gains.

They may have Kill Rates where they want but they definitely don't favor Survivor experience.

I'd say the bonuses are working as it's intended, but it just isn't incentivizing enough for people to play Survivor. I still play Survivor regardless because Killer games are just boring to me, and the queue times are too long, especially at the time of day I normally play (early morning, EST time).
Idk what would incentivize more people to play Survivor with the way things are now...

Well more BP would be a start, not all of us are done levelling or wanting BP for things. 25-50% isnt really worth it even with 500% cake bonus, certainly not when the event ends.

I think there is something going on behind the scenes when it comes to bloodpoints recently. Every perk that had a bloodpoint boost of some sort has been removed from the game, incentives have intentionally been reduced (before July-August of last year, whenever there was a boost for a role it was ALWAYS a +100% bonus AKA double bp but now the default seems to be +25% or +50%) and most recently they intentionally reduced the spawn rate of the anniversary cakes from previous years. I’m not sure what’s going on behind the scenes but this is not the way to go imo. even though we get tons of Bp during events and we get like 1 bloodhunt a month but that doesn’t justify nerfing bloodpoint gains outside of those events and mini events behind the scenes and denying to your playerbase that everything works “fine.”

Maybe your killer mmr is alot higher than your survivor one? That could be throwing it off. If not I can only assume it's bugged. My killer wait isn't awful. Usually only a couple of minutes while my survivor wait is typically 30 seconds.

It's funny, I've hopped over to killer a few times when I see the survivor bloodpoint bonus has gone down to 1.25/1.5 or is gone all together and after sitting and waiting in queue for a while I get impatient and hop back over to survivor to find it's gone back up to 2.5. It's like it knows I'm calling its bluff.
It would be nice to be able to play killer some since I like playing both and am a bit sick of survivor solo queue in this event but it looks like I'm going to be stuck on survivor for the duration as I have no intention of waiting 10-15 minutes for a single match.
