Why does BHVR think killers need so much help and survivors need to be constantly punished?

As a player of both roles I can talk about many things, but in particular I wonder why are some meta killer builds so horrible for survivors? Have the developers even tried playing constantly against those builds? Also, what is the need for some survivor perks to be disabled during game collapse? Do killers so desperately need help in getting kills? I can tell you, when I play killer, it is so easy to kill survivors with all the buffs I get that the game gets terribly boring (I mained killer for a long time and got to iridiscent I everytime, I dont find it fun anymore even with perkless builds). Why are some horrible mechanics not fixed or prevented, like slugging, killers "humping" surivivors while words like "damn" are banned in chat? Seriously BHVR, why? Do you need more killers than survivors or why do you keep turning a blind eye to surivors having fun? Why can't the last survivor get a buff instead of the killer getting them? Why must surivors hit a very tiny box to blind the killer (try aiming a flashlight with a controller) while ranged killers can hit huge hit boxes? Developing a game is not only about programming and debugging. It's about considering the gameplay and enjoyability of the game. Have some of your developers play solo queue and see how they do. And this is not a rant, these are real game mechanics that I consider deserve an answer.

I would love to know the killers you're using perkless to get easy kills.

    Slugging shouldn't be "fixed".
Additionally, you are completely wrong from the fact that it is "so easy to kill survivors" since survivors also have nasty things they could do on the killer. They can all have perks like decisive strike, deliverance, unbreakable, lithe and also all carry medkits with syringes and so on. It also depends on what killer you play, some are stronger than others.
Also iridiscent has nothing to do with skill it is just progression/point system.
Ranged killers often have drawbacks or telegraphed attacks allowing you to potentially dodge the projectile. Plus their hitboxes can also be a bad thing too as it can collide with the environment.

I'm confused what base kit killer buffs have been added recently? Last time I checked we were getting anti-slugging and even anti-tunneling, not even mentioning the anti-camping changes that are also coming. This sounds to me, like a major incoming killer nerf. As for your so called "buffs" that killers have been receiving just in this patch alone we've had both knight's power and clown's power gutted compared to their current state.

Because Survivors have four people to the Killer's one. Killer is meant to be as strong as four Survivors. But the problem is due to various factors, some Killers are not evenly matched against four Survs of the same strength, nor are they evenly matched with four Survivors depending on the meta, the map, the kit, the Killer, and how MMR feels that day.

For example it's common for Killer to ping pong between baby groups and SWF strong teams in the same day, often on the same Killer. It's also common to see some Killers not get played at all during some metas because they cannot keep up, especially low mobility ones. Not all Killers are Ghoul, Blight, and Billy.

Currently due to an overbuff of healing perks, continued neglect of how efficient Survivors can be on gens when coordinated, and a refusal to control anything Survivors use for generators, alongside other issues like map balance and lack of real buffs on some of the lower tier Killers, plus how sweaty the event is right now? Killer doesn't feel very good unless you play someone who's very strong. The game goes out of its way to make losing as Killer feel extra bad, and the amount of things Survivors can sometimes have can feel very hard on some Killer choices. That's why you're seeing an abundance of Ghouls, for example - he can keep up in this situation.

It feels a lot like old CoH meta right now and the resulting Killers that show up are similar. Until BHVR rebalances this, it's going to stay this way.

And that's why there's more Killer help than Survivor help, though this year it appears BHVR is doubling down on giving Survivors something because they just spent two years fixing Killer.

In other words? Get used to this, and welcome to how it felt to play Killer for the first six years of the game's life.

I was slightly tempted to try perkless Skull Merchant, but I do have a feeling it wouldn't end well.

It’s been a little while since we had our last brand new account from someone claiming, without any evidence, that they are a god-level killer who regularly stomps survivor teams while using no perks, no sound, blindfolded, etc. and asking for killer nerfs/survivor buffs. I guess we were due for another one of these.

Please - let us see some of your god-level killer gameplay. I often have to work pretty hard to win when I play killer, so it would be great if you could show me how to do it with no effort on workless low-tier killers.

I really doubt you've mained killer for as long as you say cause if you did you'd completely understand why some things are the way they are now for survivor.

Yes I do, but it's not that hard to do with nurse, springtrap and blight. Evidently I am not saying a perfect 100% of matches, but when I mained killer I just decided I would play perkless to make the game more challenging and I managed to get maybe 80% of matches a 4K, and 20% of the rest one or two survivors escaping, which conventionally it's not considering losing for a killer. I have to say I spent quite a lot of time on the game and you have to develop the skill to not be perk dependent and be able to keep track of survivor location without the need of aura revealing perks. You can ask any pro killer player (like D3AD Plays or Otz) and with a little time of playing perkless I bet they would be able to win maybe 95% of their matches.

You mean the anticamping and antitunneling that are useless and still let the killer camp and tunnel?
