Balance killers with perk tiers
Haywire, perk nerfed to its unusable state because of one killer. Singularity
Situational Awerness, Perk nerfed because of 1 killer, Nurse
Undone, perk intentionaly bad because of 1 killer, Doctor
I think there would be more examples of that, like gen kick meta nerfed cuz of knight or manga nerd.
Why dont we use perk tiers to nerf them on specific killers?
Like singularity would have tier 1 haywire with current effects, other killers that can do similar tactic would get tier 1 or maybe 2 effect, and others would benefit from tier 3.
Devs could make cool perk ideas without having to balance them around certain killers. Weaker killers would also benefit from that, AND we could nerf those killers that are too oppresive.
Maybe changing from "tiers" to "versions" would be better. Like v1 would be signicficantly different from v3 but would have same mechanic.
Ofc we would need a lot of information about what killer needs to have what tier. We could start of with all having tier 3 (like now) and nerf those that we know is not fair on certain killers.
(this thought came to me a minute ago, it probably has flaws i dont see.)

I think you are right, Singu with Haywire can be problematic

Aside Haywire, which proved to be quite a bad design, both Undone and Awakened Awareness can be buffed in a way where they aren't OP.
AA can be buffed back safely if Nurse gets the nerf to not see auras while charging blinks and blinking.
Undone needs a rework honestly.

Thats actually brilliant idea with aura thing. AA was nerfed cuz of linger, on v1 which nurse would have AA wouldnt have linger, but v3 could have. Thats the idea i came up with. Balancing would be much easier too

Yeah, I would really want this change for Nurse. It's not like she would become any weaker, just harder.
Noone can convince me she is actually hard to play, if you stack aura reading. It's just easy…

I disagree on that one. Killers need to be more in line with each other. Pig and Nurse can't have so different chance of winning when spawning on same map with same build. There are 5 killers that must be towned down and 4 killers that need to be tuned up. Then the perks won't be so huge problem but more of corelation with specific poweres.

the issue is that some perks are weaker because certain killers could abuse them. Making Versions of perks based on those problems could fix that issue, and we could get new fun perks that wouldnt be OP on 1 killer to the point of immediate nerf.
Haywire is good example. I like idea of that perk, but it was killed because of singularity power1 -
Even Not Ortdaza admitted you could be losing the game and Haywire and singu can turn a loss into a win. Its not very fun for either side and survivors need to be coordinated to avoid a wipe.

thats exacly the problem. We could adress that with nerfing haywire just on singu (and killers with similar thing) and making it usable on other killers. Rn Haywire is useless no matter how u look at it
