Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

They are referring to Skull Merchant 2.0, my dear friend, not her first version.

And back when she got unnecessarily nerfed, they did alter the Haste and Hindered effects of her power, even though they weren't problematic to begin with.

Tf are you talking about? You could always turn off your brain while playing Clown. You just need to use a different bottle now, that's the only change to his gameplay.

This sort of stuff makes me glad I don't really play survivor anymore lol I was watching Slate play speedy Clown last night and just kept thinking 'so glad I'm not on the receiving end of this' 🤣

They have a consultancy program too, where they pay a group of players to test and advise on new killers and changes etc. Hens is part of it, and I know a bunch of other streamers are too. Dowsey used to be a paid consultant until he quit the game. Not sure how much say they actually have though in the final product, but just wanted to point out that they definitely have people who play the game alot and understand it better than most to advise them.

Kinda wild, I was convinced the Antidote plume speed and the Tonic lingering effects changes were gonna be reverted... or if not reverted, at least met half way at 1.5s for both.

Honestly I figured only the reload speed/ walk speed changes and the Antidote speed boost changes were gonna stay when all was said and done...

Silly. I suppose this doesn't really affect high level Clowns already using combos of Antidote and Tonic at tiles that much... but scrub Clowns (like myself) are gonna be pretty obnoxious... 😐

It's the only explanation for all of it. No way there's that many people that don't know the game. All it takes is one entity in the chain of command to shut it all down. But it's all just speculation on my part, I wasn't there.

on paper yes, however the haste buffs are proving to be a lot stronger than expected, I imagine they’ll nerf his speed add-ons soon to compensate for the base kit buffs to his pee bottles.

Fr, I watched a stream last night and out of the fifteen matches they played, they went against at least five Clowns, and they all did the same thing. Just broke the yellow bottles at their feet and just zoomed after survivors, like complete no-brain tactics, and it worked because you couldn't out-loop him, because he was just so fast. I have honestly lost all respect for anyone who plays Clown in his current state.

Ofc those matches were quick as well because the survivor teammates would try to run interference for the person being tunnled, but still. It was so low skill and uninteractive, I was surprised that the Clown players were even enjoying themselves. Like there's only so much of "lmao, this is so busted lololol." That a person can actually laugh at before getting bored right?

I don’t find it easy to win consistently as killer. My kill rate is slightly above the 60% average. Some matches are easy, sure, but many of them are incredibly challenging with plenty of 0 or 1K matches to offset the easy ones. Based on other threads I see many others saying the same thing. What are we doing wrong? It would be very helpful if you could show us some of your killer gameplay so we can learn your secrets to “winning easily”. What’s your kill rate? I assume if you are easily winning every match it has to be well above 60%.

Whats up with the trend of bhvr to want killers to require no skill.

At least with pink bottles you rely on predicting the survivor's pathing which is a form of skill expression. Throwing down a piss bottle to zoom around a filler pallet isn't skillful.

I literally just had this combination and genuinely you'd think the clown was speed hacking - i'm returning to the game after a break and it's actually a joke lol. Feels miserable to play so i'll be taking another break lol
