Don't ya jus hate useless Bloodwebs/Perks

Finally stockpiled a bunch of Bloodpoints, since usually I just spend em all after a couple matches played and decided to pour em into The Plague. What I got is mostly ridiculously useless crap.... Overwhelming Presence, Sloppy Butcher, Thanatophobia, Coulrophobia, Nurse's Calling, Monstrous Shrine etc. Getting her own Perks has def been scarce atm :/

Guess it was bound to happen eventually (getting bad string of Webs)...but all of my previously leveled up Killers picked up some decent stuff by now :[

I swear I had to level past 50 about 30 times trying to get BBQ on my pig

Sloppy isnt bad when it's tier 3... Surveillance is good at least. And Franklins. That's not horrid against the right lobbies.

Sloppy on Plague is mostly a waste since in my experiences, people use her full healing Fountains a lot...and on the flipside plenty of people don't bother to heal and crank out Gens, as well as use Adrenaline which renders the Perk a wasted slot. On other Killers, Sloppy is fantastic

It helps against slugging... I guess...? Idk. I've not been able to get any of the perks i want on her either. I've gotten Ruin, but i want Monitor and BBQ and Surveillance.

It would be great if we could flag some perks as 'not of interest to me', which would prevent them appearing in our bloodwebs. This way we could focus on the perks we need.

Also, every expansion brings in more and more perks, diluting the total perk pool, which worsens the current problem.

I know you said very few are useless but situational perks are not optimum. At this stage perks and bloodwebs should include 3 perks per web if you have gotten at least 3 full pages worth of teachables unlocked. This alongside ruin being a staple for most killers on account of making it so you have slighlty more time for errors you make whilst learning the killer just makes future addtions more frustrating.

Biggest mistake I made was Prestiging my Trapper to 3. Now I can't get an Agitation upgrade to save my life. What the hell was I thinking?

I would say a good 50% of all killer perks are not worth using.

Most are situational and best and are normally eclipsed by another perk that does a similar effect that gives more value for less effort.

Take Thanny, Slows the game down mainly used for gens, per survivor injured which is nice until you realise to get any real value 4 survivors must be injured, killing people and losing the Thanny value on that person means as the game progresses it gets worse and worse.

Take Ruin instead sure it can be taken out but if you get more than 1 minute or 2 out of it you will still get more value than a whole game with Thanny.

Thanny to slow down healing? Sloppy Butcher again outclasses it.

Thantophobia is barely noticable on healing unless it's all 4 Sloppy Butcher is far better for this purpose and makes survivors easier to track via the bleeding.

Thanny is 16% fully stacked against healing and as soon as you kill someone that potential drops as dead guys don't count towards it.

Sloppy is 20% and is always at 20%

He's not saying it will slow down healing. He's saying it makes the survivors go heal instead of working injured. Because survivors think Thanat is good. They wont work through it if they can help it.

She's been bad for me, as well. I have her at 41 right now and still have yet to gather a decent build pertaining to her. Not 1 single level of BBQ & C, not a single Hex: Ruin, not any decent location perks whatsoever. She's gonna' be another one of those "30 levels deep past hitting 50" killers. Feels like my Legion experience all over again. Guess I'll not be looking to prestige her afterwards! Meanwhile, I had several decent viable builds ready through Bubba and Freddy before they even hit 40... because, of course.

My Spirit, Doctor and Pig have been my only ones to really luck out. Not counting my early Killers I leveled (Leatherface and Hag) because the pool of Perks was less bloated.

But Plague has just been disappointing. Getting Monitor & Abuse and finally Ruin has been my only solace. Was wanting more ranks for Corrupt Intervention to try out the Perk a bit. I did get Infectious Fright up to Rank 3 but I,honestly have no idea how good that perk since I've been waiting to level her up before playing...but I haven't seen Killers run it so far.

It's kind of redundant at this point. 57 killer perks x 3 tiers each (level 1, 2 and 3) x an average of ~50k BPs per blood web multiplied by 15 killers. Do the math:

(57 x 3 x 50,000)(15) = (8,550,000)(15) = 128,250,000 blood points to get all perks for all killers. For every killer they add to the game, add an additional 8,550,000 bloodpoints. This is just with the assumption you don't prestige at all.

I mean this is just INSANE. For a new player coming in the game, can you imagine them trying to get up to date just to get P0 with all perks on every killer? Now, I agree with a grind. It makes people feel like are doing something, but it's not very engaging with the current system. This is the type of system that encourages massive burn-out and makes people play other games. I reeeeaaaaalllllly wish they'd implement a different system especially with the influx of new killers.

Agreed, I often take huge breaks because ot gets to be a bit much...especially with people disconnecting so often that deprives players of Bloodpoints...kills off the mood.

You'd think Double Bloodpoint events would be MORE frequently....but it's been months now

I think something that could help is by adding infinite randomized minor rituals. So we could keep our daily rituals but after you are finished with them, have minor rituals that would award something like 5k BPs and you could do as many as you want. Randomized rituals will pop up (e.g. "Complete 1 sacrifice with the Clown"). You get a new ritual for every ritual you complete.

It would encourage people to play a variety of killers so they complete the rituals for the additional BPs. People that do not want to participate can continue to play killers as they choose and just not earn ritual BPs.

    *edit

Same with the survivor side having continuous rituals.

This is a great idea. And a 5k reward actually isnt a bad idea, because 5k is nothing in a game. Maybe not "complete one sacrifice" because that would just encourage hook camping to make sure the person died. But it's a great idea in general. The devs need to see this.

Really good idea there about rituals. Also, as someone said with SO MANY killers and possible perks they should start offering three per web or something else maybe letting us “block” five from showing?
