Chase doesn't proc after a fog veil is used for the rest of the match and Pigs uses that bug to prevent survivors traps from stopping when being chased

Sounds more like the fog vials need to be killswitched, not the Pig.

Seems a little off to killswitch Pig for a bug that is mostly in control of the survivor to trigger... and in the same vein, we don't say a word about the item that also disables the killer from getting bloodlust, which itself is just as much of an exploit in its own right...
Killswitch/report the killer instead of killswitch the item that causes the problem and otherwise outside of Pig is an exploit for survivors that by the same logic should also be reported? Double standard?

Playing pig in this way was always possible and it is the most ineffective way of playing her. Sure she gets one kill with little to no counterplay but in the end she will lose if the survivors do gens.

Does it work both sides? Like Pig has to be in disadvantage too since it can't get bloodlust… Based on whole discussion, I agree with Langweilig, you could do same strat before vials

killswitching pig isnt the answer here because unlike the nemesis bugs of a few patches ago, there isnt a way to determine if a pig player is using this bug intentionally or not. this is a bug more worthy of a hotfix, like when they updated kanekis yamori mask and the patch that came in disabled killer instinct in lockers. technically exploitable on one side, impossible to prove or justify a killswitch for, fixed a week later on thursday. leave amanda be

If anything the Fog Vials should be killswitched, but they wont killswitch them, since they are the new Item. So everyone asking for this is pretty unrealistic and we just have to hope that the chase bug is fixed in Hotfix 1.
When it comes to Pig, I highly doubt that many players would actually capitalize on that. Yes, you can run after a Survivor and let their timer go down, which will kill them, but as always it is bad play by the Pig player to go after a person with a Trap, since that Survivor cannot do Gens anyway. And waiting until the timer is up is even more inefficient than just trying to tunnel them out via downing them.

yes please report players for exploting something that bhvr could easily fix by disabling ONE DAMN ITEM
i don't condone using explotis but banning people for incompetence is a new level of low for this community and this game.
tho i love how u went after the killer not the actual issue, since u still wanna abuse the bug but since its effecting one killer positively u don't like it

Hey folks. I wanted to pop in here to confirm that a tentative fix for the bug preventing Killers from initiating chases was deployed yesterday. With this fix, the chase mechanic (i.e. triggering bloodlust and entity blockers) is working again.
There is a separate issue, however, in which music does not play when in a chase. This is still a known issue and is being investigated, but it's important to note that this is just an audio issue.
The team are continuing to monitoring bug reports to make sure all cases are addressed, so please don't hesitate to let us know if you're still encountering any mechanical issues with chases (minus the lack of music, of course).

nah pig can stay as long as chase mechanics are broken with the smoke bombs. I just hope they’re throwing all the data out the window because of it during this period.
