Why are people still playing DbD right now?
I mean the game is broken in so many lvls with bugs from TWD chapter…
Why play this game in it's current state?
You may say "no other games do/play what DbD does", but I rather play a completely different game than the broke mess DbD is right now.
NOTE: you saw the title and thought it was another of those "if you are miserable playing DbD you should quit", right?😄

I haven't had any problems other than strength in shadows visual bug…Just played all day surv/killer and had no issues..?

I just played about 2 hours or so. I only encountered 1 clown, and 2 trials with fog vials. So most of the games weren’t as bugged as they could have been. Plus the incentives are right back on survivor. They were off for 1 day, the day TWD came, but the very next day incentives were back on survivor instead of killer so, just been getting BP.

At the moment I am embracing the jank as yes its broken but its is silly going mach 5 on clown in silent hill. The game is beyond broken tho.

What the hell?
I'm not playing right now just because of the damn non chase bug. It happened in 60/70% of all my matches the day the last chapter dropped, so I simply gave up.
Also BTW Fog Vials are pretty bad. I can see clearly inside their mist.1 -
I’m sorry you’ve experienced that. I am still getting faced with awful ping killers or teammates, and I did experience some rubber banding, but I haven’t had to deal with the no chase bug or the fog vile bugs. I absolutely know they’re an issue, and I’m not trying to say that because I haven’t had to deal with them that it isn’t happening, I totally know it is. Hopefully it gets hotfixed

I don’t think it’s that bad.
If the bugs annoy me too much, I just switch to something stronger. If worse comes to worst, Nurse. Yeah, she’s bugged to no end too, but Nurse is still Nurse.
So y, just adjust things a bit. Its still fun.
as huntress and Pinhead can be seriously annoying when used right.
but only really annoying at long distances. So overall, no big problems with the FOG vials from my side too
(It just limits the playstyle a lot in some rounds with certain killers.)

I know I'm not. The streetwise and bloodrush exploits needs to be fixed before I even think of touching this game again.

Well… the experience isn't great right now, but if I could handle A Binding Of Kin then I can handle this chapter.

Game's fine. I've not seen any issues at all, besides the fact that Ghoul is still in the game.

Honestly, I don't bring Vials, I don't run TWD perks, and I'm not playing Killer so I haven't really experienced the bugs to the same extent at all. What I have experienced is most trials ending before the gates are powered in a Surrender which is oodles of fun. I don't think the bugs are really affecting that much in my experience. I'm just doing dailies for funsies.

The primary problem choking all fun I could be having is the lag. Constant lag. Constant rubberbanding. I could play just fine last week, now I'm constantly being robbed by lag in every match I play.

Im just trying to get that finnish the generator in the new twd map achievement. But i get the map maybe 1 out of every 40 rounds even with the offering, and playing a twd character. And when i do get the map, its against a basement camping hag or a turbo tunneling xeno ttv or something that just reallllllllllly wants to win that round at all costs lol so im still trying. Otherwise id be waiting for a fix playing other stuff

Still enjoying it and have been exceptionally lucky to only have encountered one of the bad bugs once (the stairs).
However, seeing all the problems people have posted, I compketely understand people who aren't playing for now. I'd be the same if all I encountered were these bugs.

I played some matches as killer and as survivor and it was too bad. FWIW on the killer side I did not notice any issues with the “no chase” bug but it’s not like I played dozens of matches, so maybe just got lucky. Fog vials overall were not a problem.
On the survivor side the only real problem I had was bad solo queue teammates getting downed in 5 seconds or spending the whole match blessing boom totems instead of doing gens. Also had people give up immediately against Ghoul which basically happens every time against him.1 -
I've also given up, almost half of the killers are bugged, a bunch of bugs for both sides, problems with cheaters, the developers' unwillingness to do anything except skins

I do believe that other than sunk-cost fallacy, the ultimate reason that nobody ever truly leaves DBD is because there's absolutely zero competition.
There are no other games to scratch the itch that DBD does, and DBD usually just outlasts any potential rivals.

besides i love to spot and report any bugs i find too as to give them a heads up.
then again i love the silliness too
