They're already double-nerfing Fog Vials

Myers has been in desperate need of an update and I think many people are hoping for less power in Tombstone addons for a better basekit. Of course, Myers is not even on BHVR's priority list and they seem opposed to giving him any sort of tweaks, because stats show he's fine.

Yeah, I think they kinda fail to see what's the issue here.
I think the effect should be strong, but it simply should not be infinite number of uses.
I would personally prefer 2-3 charges of strong effect, than infinite charges of bad effect.3 -
They can keep him as he is or not. I play as him sometimes but I'm pretty indifferent. I'm not complaining about it, I'm just trying to find the line. And it seems to be at "things that benefit survivors."

A potency decrease is actually a great idea.

I'm not sure about everyone else, but in my experience fog vials suck in the hands of most survivors. Most seem to think they're cartoon ninja who just disappear in a poof when they use them.
Like if you use it when the killer is on top of you, it does essentially nothing

it’s okay. I’ll gladly let the devs toy with the numbers if it means that’s it’s engaging for both sides and fun. I understand not everyone that plays either side is a god and has trouble with some things. I always think there’s middle ground. I’ll wait to hold judgement for when the tweaks hit live, if it’s too much it can always be toyed around with. Most people are using them wrong, but I absolutely understand when people use them right how that can be a problem. Saw a comment where you said like 4/5 charges. I think that’s a good starting point to be worked from and go from there. I get it, I know there’s a sea of skill level difference on both sides. I also think any reasonable person that’s played the game for long enough would agree that unlimited charges is insane if for anything other than just pure annoyance factoring into that especially if you multiply it by four. Things should be fun and things should be useful, and I agree there’s lines.

Out of 40 killers, I'd say four, maybe five, are actually OP or just generally miserable to face.
But the issue with the vials isn't that they aren't fun (I actually like facing them more than using them, as most survs just pop them and immediately die), it's that no item that every surv can bring should have infinite uses. I don't feel like that should be controversial.

Density Was never an issue. When playing killer, I can still track survivors especially when they use it half the time right in front of me. As survivor, I still get downed and can easily see the killer who usually can see me.
The only time it gets difficult is when two or more use them because they do stack. Maybe they should get rid of it stacking or at least allow 2 stacks and no more. A 3rd or 4th afterwards would allow the fog in the area to last longer if done correctly.
But now they're going to nerf it unti the ground while not doing anything about clown, Pyramid Head, or even the cooldown for Springtrap's axe throw. I hope the devs reconsider because my survive rate over the past 30 days have gone into the toilet despite my overall is still slightly under 40%. But my killrates... Averaging 75% with some of my favorite killers around 100%.

Good news for you! I think both the Myers instakill addons are massively unfair!
….The 4/5 charges comment was saying the nerf would be mostly meaningless if the charges are that high, because most people aren't using the fog vials more than that on average.

Instead of just sharing feedback about things they dont like, people need to start sharing things about what they do like. Because if BHVR only see negative feedback then they assume that's the overwhelming consensus. Look at how many upvotes your post has - where were all these people before when lots of us were saying theyre fine? I dont think they need changing and I prefer seeing them in my games than survivors bringing flashlights, toolboxes, and medkits. Now no one will bring them.
Survivors are often told not to call for killer nerfs too early after they're released, as they need an adjustment period. The same should be the case here.

I was on a bunch of threads complaining about it offering a counter opinion.
This is an important point, though. We need to be louder about what we think BHVR are doing right.
