New emblem system and stealth
Okay.... so this is 100% ridiculous, I really cant understand the emblem system anymore, it has been so frustrating lately, basically the game that used to give you several gameplay options and difficult, moral choices now forces you to be a hyper carry of your team and do ALL in one single match, and by doing so making you compete with your teammates for resource and points.
Basically this match I did ABSOLUTELY every single gen, I managed to help others, and managed not been seen by the killer during the whole game, and I get a 0
The evader emblem is one of the most nosense thing in the game, it basically starts with the following sentence: ''EVADER represents your ability to stay HIDDEN from the killer '' and even so by >EVADING< the killer throughout the whole game I won nothing (yes, I know that the points are won only while in terror radious but what is the logic of this? my stealth needs to be ''risky'' and that specific ??? #########)
Each player had a role through match, we ALL escape because we work together, and yet we are not rewarded? Even if the evader emblem was fair.... I got two iridescent and one gold, this is not an easy every-match thing, and because of a badly designed emblem I get 0

The new emblem system has screwed both sides up. I can get all survivors on the hook and stop gen repairs and be lucky to get black pip. The old system it was a lot easier. The emblem system needs to be reverted not the matchmaking

Evader and stealth are working fine. You only acquire points for stealth while inside of the killers tr. Without any chase I can usually get silver based on how close I can get without being seen. Making the killer spend time hunting around a gen helps rack it up fast. The only stealth issues I've encountered has been with stealthy killers like Myers. Currently surprise grabs account for nothing, you have to give survivors a chase if you want to rank.

I understand. but it still doesn't make sense for me, as a player you should have the choice of stealth, or to participate aggressively in chases, or to be a super healer/savior, and if you do one of these things pretty well, you should be at least partially rewarded, but the game practically precludes stealth, and after all avoiding the killer by itself is already stealth, the requirement to be in terror radius is extremely unnecessary (even because as you said, many killers even don't even have a considerable amount of terror radious). What really bothers me in this new system is that you are obliged to dp practically everything in a very well executed way excluding any other type of choice that in the end would also guarantee your victory/escape. At the launch of the game they talked so much about the choice of the survivor to be altruistic or not, to be or not to be stealth etc etc, you were giventhese choices, and at least one of these aspects were done good it was possible to pip. Come on, how many times a team escape thanks to a player who had great chases and distracted the killer, while there was an immersive player completing the all the gens, and in the end everyone won... but now there is a chaos because neither would win any pipe, in most games it is practically impossible to be good in all of the emblems, everyone just want their pieces so they won't derank, several matches are now such a mess cause there is a limited resource to do

Yes and risk your unbroken in exchange for evader and no lightbringer or benevolence. Or just play the killer - they have a slightly easier time ranking right now. Other killers aren't competing for their points.

"Stealth" is based on your proximity to the killer. The closer you are the more points you get. Basically if you want iridescent in this emblem only using stealth you have to be in the killer's heartbeat (or 32m) for something like 7 minutes. I've managed to get gold and iri just from hanging around the killer a lot.
It looks like you were never even near the killer, otherwise you would have at least bronze. THAT SHOULD NOT BE REWARDED. Staying on the opposite side of the map from the killer is not stealth. Stealth is when you EVADE the killer when there is a chance you can be caught, hence why you need to be closer.
Here is the wiki for Evader emblem. Notice how once you leave the standard heartbeat range (32m) the point earnings drop significantly.
You need to get chased by the killer. Period. Stealth is easy in this game and shouldn't be rewarded so heavily. If you win 4-30 second chases that's probably going to net you an iridescent emblem. If you win 2-60 second chases that is DEFINITELY an iridescent.

I agree that the new system forces you to spread out more, but in the long run i think that's better for teams. You can collect the same amount of bp as before, but being a one trick pony doesn't always help the team and shouldn't be an easy way up the ranks. As for stealth & tr; gaining evader without tr would likely lead to more survivors hanging around well past a win just to max it out. At least with the current method you have to accept a little risk for the reward.

That's why I think if you haven't entered a chase but meet requirements on Lightbringer and Benevolence, you should get rewarded for doing those actions while not getting caught.

devs need to change this pip-system.
you cant get a pip as a "team". if you unhook 2-3 and do gens, then you get a pip. if you do gens, get chase but cant unhook someone, then you get no pip. sadly but true.
the old pip-system was good and perfect for the "Team" (and dbd is a teamgame) but the new is for selfish surv or 3/4er swf's.
i hope they listen to all the feedback here and in steam to change this.

exactly, people are talking as if evading the killer would basically be just crouch the whole match waiting for someone to do gens/the hatch open, while actually all I did was basically COMPLETE ALL the goals proposed by the game, it's not my fault if the killer wanted to lose that much time with another survivor who knew how to loop, this is a killer mistake, not mine, besides I still do not understand why stealth is so limited in this game, in no scenario you should feel obligated to play in any specific way, this basically takes away the entire individual gameplay of each player, forcing you to be 100% meta

I never understood why Evader was that way, i shouldn't feel forced to be in the killer's terror radius, AND do a majority of gens AND heal numerous times.
I must say, i dont care much for pipping in the first place due to facing sweatier killers and having no reward whatsoever, but it still doesn't make sense why an emblem system dedicated to portraying your skill is doing so with moderate inaccuracy.
