Ping issue
I just wanted to know if anyone has had any issues with unreasonably high ping in matches since the hotfix yesterday.
My placement isn't perfect and I'm currently in a region where my ping is 90-130ms at best. But yesterday after uploading hotfix it jumped to 400-500... I somehow managed to hook the survivors 3 times but then I realized that neither me or them were having fun playing this. Forced to DC. It's impossible to play on the survivor as well, I was forced to DC again.
Have others had any serious server and optimization issues? Or should I just wait 2 months before moving to another region where the game servers at least nearby...

I played just 1 game yesterday after the hotfix and all the survivors including myself have had high ping and 1 of them DC'd after a hit. Fun.

Just curious, are u living in the country that is relatively close to servers? Just wondering, is it affecting only people who lives far away as me, if yes, maybe it’s optimisation issue and we have to wait for a week-two before being able to play normally

My closest server is Frankfurt which is about 1500 km. My ping in general is 40-45ms.

I’m in Central Asia now. Unfortunately, the closest for me is also Frankfurt

I live in the UK so my closest server is london, therefore I don't usually experience high ping. However I sometimes see EU players (like someone from slovakia yesterday) and they always have the highest ping imaginable and not in the hit through pallets way but in the fly in the other direction randomly way. So its definitely a server issue. Maybe BHVR is experiencing server problems since the FNAF and TWD chapters and all their new players.

while playing survivor hitting skill checks was almost impossible, live in the central USA, playing on ps5. Wondering if anyone else is having this issue, the lag from input til the game registers is a good couple of milliseconds. Wondering if anyone else is having this issue. The same button seems to work fine everywhere else, even in the menu.

Put your TV in game mode when you play the game. That will sort the issue.
