Lobby dodging
It's annoying but I do it too so I can't really complain.
I just wanna know what are some of the reasons you choose to dodge lobbies.
Don't tell me how you never dodge, everyone does it.

More than one flashlight.
More than one person with paid for cosmetics.
Four names that make it obvious it's a SWF.
Bad ping.

quite simply, killers just want an easy game because they need to.......

Bad pings or SWF. I don't feel like dealing with SWF they're super toxic if they do & don't get their way. SWF DC a sh*t load and it makes the game boring. Also you pretty much wasted a mori if you brought it to a SWF lobby. If I'm being REAL here my big fear moving forward is that when dedicated servers come out that you won't be able to tell if it's SWF, if they can fix DCing i'll be fine with it.

I'll dodge if I'm not in the mood to deal with SWF. It's just rarely a fun experience. There are 3 killers in the game that can consistently deal with groups on comms in my opinion. I can usually deal with them on Spirit, but if I 4k they can get really salty. I'm bad with Billy and Nurse, so if I don't feel like playing Spirit or don't feel like having to sweat a lot, I'll dodge.

When my ping is bad and only then.

I don't mind going against SWF's. But my goal changes from winning the round to somehow breaking the SWF, where I do not shun the more shady aspects of being a killer. Getting the entire SWF to chain-disconnect is the sign that I succeeded.

Dodging them lobbies like bullets in the matrix

I typically don’t dodge lobbies as a killer unless I know the SWF group to be toxic or if I see four Claudette’s in really dark clothes. I realllllly don’t wanna stare through every single bamboo bush to look for four immersed Claudette players.
As a survivor I lobby dodge if I know my teammates are useless or if the ping is really bad. I’m not staying in a lobby with 500 ping.

Well I'd say I don't, but that isn't allowed apparently.

@DudeDelicious I've been that really annoying survivor. I'll ready up in the SWF lobby then go afk to grab a drink or something.

I dodge super mainstream streamers just because the dynamic of the game is changed. When you have a streamers with 500+ viewers, there's a good chance they are gonna have super try-hard survivors try to jump in que with them with their best items and perks to try and impress. This just isn't the type of game I want to play, I rarely even use add-ons. I'll be honest with you, most of the time I play it's just to grind BPs.

Red ping that doesn't leave.

I main survivor so, bad ping. When I play killer, I don't dodge even the most seemingly toxic looking groups. Because I can take an L and laugh about it at the same time. And salty survivors/survivors who are extra rude because they won don't personally offend me.
I will never understand why there are killers who DC because of people dressed in exclusive/paid outfits though. I mean, I have my own stereotypes about the way players dress but none that seem threatening besides stealthy looks.

4 claudets wearing black. Ooooh no you don't {Killer has disconnected}

Depending on the perk build I'm using, I've dodged lobbies if I get two or more people dressed exactly the same. If I'm using STBFL, then I need to be 100% sure who's who.

{southern accent} Can't trust them gosh darn doppelgangers, always confusing you. Makin ya think ya kill'd em. Gosh darn Dopplegangers (Shakes head no, slowly as holding his chin and looking into the distance)

You mean visual notification? With the Entity arms moving around the obsession when chasing.
0 -
Yes, that's true, but if the two of them are together, how am I supposed to tell them apart without chasing one after they separate. I main Spirit. I attack a lot coming out of phase, my eye sight can tell me "That's Meg, don't hit her" before the sound does.

If a survivor username is a twitch url.
Even as a survivor I dodge them.
Every single experience I got with them prior to starting dodging them was annoying and they tend to be insanely toxic.
Blame their teamate for everything even if they suck themself, complain about stream snipping, use exploit etc...

@Dragonredking From a survivor pov, I find that most twitch url names I play with on my team love farming people, but they also are the first people to steal a chase from me if I've been going for too long so I love being in a game with them. And I've never seen one act crappy in the after game lobby so far. I believe you though, I have killer main friends who complain about those url people starting drama in game and on twitch and sending lynch mobs after people and making lists of people to grieve, etc etc.

Welp at least the killer disconnects the lobby BEFORE the game starts and does not waste too much of your time ay?

I will be frank as a streamer on the side myself i find the lynch mobs that come for me are from OTHER streamers.
I mean personally im a pretty big stickler for ToS so i ask my viewers NOT to do this as it's reportable.
"Making lists" is pretty darn sad lol

In the past 12 months I've only dodged twice and it was in the PTB. There was some toxic guy who was just spamming his flashlight all game so after I played against him once each other time I saw him in my lobby I simply dodged.

I still see some people trying to flashlight macro it's pretty sad.

Toxic players I know (or names)
SWF with too many items
ping
spamming the ready button
streamers
stealth squads
hackers/griefers
I think those are all the reasons why I ever dodged a lobby

People that keep on switching their character super fast in the lobby because my ping becomes unbearable. I sometimes leave too when a person seems very toxic looking at their name and profile.

I dip out if the killer isn't ready. I know how long the queue time is and if you can't be bothered to be ready, I can't be bothered to wait. Same with survivors, ready up chodes!
0 -
So instead of waiting that extra 55 seconds, you just leave immediately? I don't ready up as killer because there are reasons I will dodge a lobby. Ever played killer against 4 identical Claudettes? It's not fun. I'll dodge that lobby every time. If I'm readied then they could potentially ready up and pull me into the game before I have a chance to dodge, which results in me task managering out during the loading screen. No thanks.
