Literally my first ever match as The Plague....took a lil to get my first person down and Hooked...found a second person POOF game ends....
Oh yay 9.5K Bloodpoints, lost Survivor Pudding, add-ons, depip and waste of my Gods Damn time....no...DCing should be further punished and Killers who suffer from it get their offerings and add-ons back...because I LOST Bloodpoints here...
It's beyond ridiculous that BHVR just gives free passes and tells players "Too bad, so sad" and more or less endorse this....the whole threshold to DC enough to be flagged is too high and not enough compensation for people that are DC'd on. This game is already a grind as is without the community of players to add to it.
EDIT: edited the Screenshot because forgot to censor names as I have zero way to remove pictures on mobile, or Mods can inform me the secret to removing a picture from posts on
mobile, that be grand (left my own..if that gets me in trouble, so be it)

I Don't know what the issue was... Not like I was toxic (herr durr vomit) or running anything too strong. Only got one Hook *shakes head* .

I heard about a bug that courses thiese dc's.
On your side it seems like they dc'ed but on their side it seems like you dc'ed.

As a survivor main I don't understand why people disconnect against her -_- I don't find her annoying at all, on the contrary. Those people definitely needs some good punishment.
I can't stand it and I always feel sorry for the killer when that happen (even against Legion, yes). So I agree with you Nikkiwhat, something has to be done about this, and very soon. :(

I had the same in a farming round just a few minutes ago. Wanted to get some BPs and all of the people in the game should have known that I farmed. Then they all DCed suddenly. Contacted one of them, they said that I DCed on their side.
We all got our BPs. There is a Bug regarding that, maybe this happened to you, which I think is the most logical answer. I mean, even if they are a 4 man SWF and they all want DC, this does not happen at exactly the same time.

As @Kikki said: There's a bug that dc's people usually running or doing an interaction such as working on a gen. One killers side they dc'd on their side the killer dc'd and it usually shows all 4 survivors got booted as if the killer dc'd.
For some reason BPS usually crash the person using them or it's just a coincidence and it seems to be similar to the loading freeze (Highly speculative.)

This happened to me today, we were in a completely winnable match with only one gen left to complete...suddenly, the person on the hook disconnected, and Daddy Jeff who was gonna work on the last gen with me ran up some stairs and dc'd while running.
Here i thought the killer was on some keen hacking abilities, but it was probably another game-breaking and soul crushing bug that continues to hamper the fun people are trying to have in their cat and mouse game

If it is a bug then it is the weirdest one I have EVER seen (no streamers were used). Because I still depipped, lost my items and ofc offerings burnt, while also earning that 9.5k Bloodpoint. If it showed both of us that each other DC'd then that's even more bizarre. More so considering ALL 4 DC'd...Ive heard people say they themselves get booted or a couple, but the whole team? Yeesh
Regardless of what happened,,until the game is actually stable, we really need a safety net for DCs and DC bugs

It’s definitely a weird bug.
It shows it’s the killer disconnecting on my screen, I even keep any item I found in the match plus the bloodpoints I’ve earned but to everyone else I was the one that disconnected.

People actually disconnect this often. Maybe it's a bug in 1 out of 10 times but not more. Lots of players even here in the forum admit that they instantly DC against Nurse, Legion, Plague, Doctor, certain maps and lots of other "reasons".
Just ask yourself, why would you (as developer) let that pass without any punishment literally for years now?
I tell you why: There are SO MANY disconnects that they would effectively lose a big part of the playerbase if they decided to punish them. They're like insecure teens desperately trying to please the masses and too afraid of taking any risks because it could piss them off.
Quantity over quality. 20k unhappy players are more lucrative than 10k happy and 10k banned players.
E: I also don't understand this modern "offender protection" philosophy (not sure if it's called like that in english but you get it). Why would you protect people that frequently ruin the matches for others? Let them pay for their behaviour.

Usually you can tell if a dc is intented or caused by a bug. Just take a look in which situation the dc occurs.
Unfortunately, I have a lot of survivors (and not so often killers) dc'ing in my matches and it seems clear that the majority are intended dc's.
For me, it's what kills fun the most. I really hope the devs take measures soon. I don't think this can wait until we have dedicated servers.

Depends how they play the Plague.
Anyone seen how easy it is to grab red puke turn the mouse sense up and just spray puke in all directions like a catherine wheel, Yes this works and it's funny.

It does seem to be getting worse, the bug and the intentional disconnects. I just hope there’s a population left by the time dedicated comes out.

Once happens to me and tbh I was laughing once it happend I utterly destroyed the survivors as wealth with bone clapperand his aura reading stealth add-on as I was looking last guy my game dcs me and I'm like lol

i don't like it when people sc for no reason either, i mean not many like their job and going to work, but cant just dc from it! i don't want to adult but i cant just dc from it! lol

If it was SWF then 1 d/c = everyone else d/c. People want to play together not spectate.

My guess is that it was a SWF, I got one person Hooked before my Corrupt Intervention ended and because I was Plague their two Insta-Heal Medkits were useless and POOF ended it then. Which still is just so dumb, that's the risk every player has with bringing certain Perks, items/add-ons...they may be less effective or countered

But still, even it is SWF, they 100% do not manage to DC at exactly the same time. So I would still say it is a Bug and you DCed.
Of course it is possible that a SWF will DC all together. It is also possible that 4 Solos will all DC. But not all at once.
