Why do maps feel so empty now?
I literally feel like the average pallet on maps count is below 10. Every 3 games I encounter at least a map with 2-4 dead zones (no windows, no weak pallets) even tho I am the first one being chased.
Was there a patch reducing pallets? Is it just the engine update forgetting to spawn some in or rotating them weirdly?
Even with Windows of Oppertunity and Open Handed it feels like I am seeing less.

It wasn’t. RGN is just poor right now.
Lost against Legion because whole side on Macmillan had zero fillers.
Next game on killer I see god like filler that turns to perfect jungle gym with long wall and another god filler.

RNG is never THIS bad. Bad RNG gives you filler pallets instead of medium or strong pallets, but it never gives you 0 pallets.
Pallet range for most maps also tend to be 13-15 pallets, Right now it feels like 10-12. I circled a map with WoO and only counted 11 pallets. Minimum spawns before TWD was 130 -

Maps have an average of 20 pallets give or take.
Haddonfield not so much.

I've legit seen 12 at most on 3 different realms now.
The only map that has the "normal" amount of pallets so far is The Game, but normally The Game is supposed to have 4-5 pallets more than the average map0 -
What realms are you referring to? I’ll test it today.

its mainly realms like Red Forest, MacMillan Estate, Coldwind Farm and Decimated Borgo(Shattered Square especially, Forgotten Ruins not so much, but that might be due to the 3d structure)

I did some testing with my friend Key.
On The Game we got a total of 25 Pallets.
Red Forest there are a total of 13 Pallets
Mac Millan there are a total of 15 Pallets. (Groanhouse) Haven't tested the others. Skull Merchants Map I doubt there are many. lol
I believe the average amount of pallets on a map is 15 total. The game comes with 10 additional. (Hawkins has A LOT too)

Red forest dead zone. (Haven’t even started dropping or kicking pallets yet)
You don't get to your first pallet till you get to the other side of the map as you can see…Awful. 2 more pallets need to be in that space.
