Another killer sided event
Survivors can't even have fun in 2v8 anymore, devs had to ruin that too with Legion and removing more than half the pallets. Gotta keep the game ultra ez mode for killers.

Not to jinx myself but I haven’t seen any Legions so far in my 2v8 matches - most common have been Weskers for me. I do see how they’d be pretty miserable when paired with a second killer though, especially an Oni.
I was wondering earlier though - are there any reoccurring survivor oriented events? The Halloween one maybe because it gives you more map space? Kind of a meh advantage but it’s the closest I can think of that at least doesn’t give killers something that greatly surpasses it in advantage.

Maybe next blood moon event will be survivor sided? Idk, for me 2v8 is still better than masquerade for fairness

If anything i thought they buffed survivors this time? The escapists can now sprint burst aura on command allowing them to use it exactly when they want to. Guides now have generator blastmines and killer detector mines (at the cost of the gen repair speed boost). The scouts im not sure if it was there before but now they get fast walking as well as crouching with no injured sounds. Healers now make it easier for people to find and heal them as well. Not sure what the killers got in comparison with all that.

It was because I mentioned not seeing a Legion in another thread too - that's what really strengthened the jinx. If it wasn't RPD and we didn't have a somewhat jukable Nurse we wouldn't have even gotten to the exit gates being powered.

If you played the 2nd 2v8 you would see how much a difference, there werr pallets everywhere. But killers complained that it was soooo unfair and devs removed them.
The biggest irony is that devs released stats for that 2v8, 55% kill rate. That's not enough though for killer mains, gotta be 70% kill rate for it to be "fair" in their view. And the devs have noclue how important balance is in a pvp game, they just obey the killer main streamers because gotta keep it ez mode for views.

I played. We have whole class for restoring pallets, and when I played as survivor I didn’t struggle at all? Yesterday I played on Greenwil, a lot of pallets even on the edge of the map

What’s with all the “us vs them”? . Plenty of people (including myself) have fun playing survivor in 2v8. I don’t know where you are getting this “removing more than half the pallets” from. I played 5 matches last night and escaped 3 out of 5 with majority of survivors also escaping in those matches. It is not that difficult. I agree that Legion sucks to go against in 2v8 but in my matches last night I only saw two Legions, and one of them didn’t seem to know how to play them.
Do you have any recent 2v8 game footage of you playing as killer that you can share? I would like to know how you are concluding that this is “ultra ez mode for killers”. What are the killers that I went up against last night doing wrong? It sure didn’t seem to be “ultra ez mode” for them.0 -
The modifiers are a toss up. The ones that favor Survivor more do seem to go the way of the Dodo faster, but 2v8 at its core has always felt more balanced than the main game to me.
Actual holiday events tend to go back and forth. We'll have one event where Killer gets a ton of mechanics that are unfairly skewed in their direction, while the next event will be a cakewalk for Survivor.

Your anecdotal experience says nothing. 2v8 was a hit because it was the more balanced mode for survivors, its insane the devs even had to ruin it. The question is why are devs too scared to show us the 2v8 stats lile they used to, what are they hiding? Why do they want the game to be so easy for killers?

How do you know it’s “so easy” for killers? Is it based on your personal experience playing as killer? I’m very hesitant to consider your point of view because 1) it’s very easy to claim one side or the other is “OP” if you’ve never played it yourself, and 2) like you said, BHVR hasn’t released any official stats for 2v8 recently. Anecdotal evidence is literally the only thing any of us have available right now. Others here have said they are seeing lots of survivors escape in 2v8, so it’s not just me. How many survivors on average are escaping in the games you are playing?

Not too surprising, Wesker is really good in 2V8 especially with the 3 bounds.

I just got on to play a couple matches after work. Played survivor, 7 escapes first match, 8 escapes second match. I am starting to notice a trend now. I don’t know who you are playing with, but it does not feel killer sided even in the slightest to me.

Just finished a third match. 8 escapes. That’s one hell of a run of good luck if 2v8 is “unwinnable” for survivors.

so apparently you are either dumb, or absolute dogshit at the game. 2v8 is the most survivor sided shitfest ever made and it becomes worse and worse with every time the release it again.
