Wesker hit validation
Can someone explain me why wesker has so bad bound hits on survivors vaulting paletts or windows like you could fast vault directly righ before he dashs on you and if you are near the same level as window or palett he wont hit you neither vaults after but different killers with dash power would get that hit. Same with vault survivor vaults window and you dash right after him to cut distance between you two but he is no longer in the window and you wont vault for some reason just ghoul can get vault even if he doesnt directly goes for the window and just slides to it he can get that vault but wesker cant. I think this is in the game for very long time when there was bug that wesker should have hit you while you vere in vaulting action but insted he grabed you and slamed you like you were right infront of that vault, you can still hit survivors while they vaulting but they have to be infront of the object (window,palett) they are vaulting if they are on the same level or near it you will just crash into them and nothing happens.

Yeah, his bound hits on windows and pallets are very inconsistent at the moment. I had many times where the survivor was right in front of me and it didn't hit.

Not only hits but vaults too this makes him much weaker then he should be but I see this problem more than year in the game right after his fix with grab I mentioned earlier.

Then you've got the issue where you're not even in range for his grab but he still gets you.

Its so bad you dobt get hit when you dash into survivor who is on the same level as window or palett and you dont get vault if he already ended his fastvault animation for some reason the gave wont let you but ghoul can vault right from leaps slide so he doesnt need to be direct on window.
There are more killer hits problems whith killers like huntress or slinger when you hit survivor directly but your hatchet dissapears or your chain instantly breaks.

He doesnt he can slap you with his power only if you are infront object you are vaulting but if you are on the same level or slightly behind it where other killer dash powers or m1 would hit you as survivor because your hitbox is slightly behind you wesker will miss.

No every time there are many moments where I should get hit but game says no like this particular wesker thing or hitting survivor running straight with hatchet directly into his back with sound of successfull hit but hatchet dissapears into his back on 40 ms with 60-61 fps so no problem on my side and no high ping on survivor either, hitting shot with slinger but chain instantly breaks (theres video from slinger main where he talks about his issues like 3 months old and he mentions this too) or as bubba getting chainsaw hit notification sound and blood over my screen but survivor still is standin up and throws pallet on my face (babba has this common if you dont run beastmarks or other speed addon the he sucks on loops for hits). Higher conection is better on killer when you are using n1 but some powers like nemesis are unusable because you get like 2 seconds when you tenticle is pulled out instead of the normal time which is like 0,35 seconds or something like that and when you strike theres like 2-4 seconds delay with his whip. How do I know this I have got few dedicated servers on him and his power is unplayable. Ghoul had proble where when you slide and turn you camera fast or fluck it and hit survivor running in the open you get enraged on him but game treats you like there was some object between you two and you wont injure him (I have reported this with video proof but I doubt its fixed), higher ping on killer isnt always beneficial for the killer mostly for m1 or some powers like huntress where you hitbox is increased from hatchet to granade range explosion for some reason hitting you few meters behind wall I think you experiented this kind of thing or getting m1 2-3 meters behind window from uganda wesker.

His power when it comes to windows and vaults is definitely inconsistent.
He's still really strong though, especially with 3 dashes in 2v8

In 2v8 yes but normaly you get punished for plaing good something every trapper main knows how this feels.

Yeah I love when I neither get the hit nor vault the window and just sort of embarrassingly bounce off.
But 2v8 has been fun with him. I can just charge a group at a gen and chances are I'll get someone. I wish the three-dash was standard. It would help make up for how punishing the misses are, and how wonky the window dashes have been.

When I play survivor I can say that one scenario I find extremely frustrating is when I'm dropping a pallet with plenty of time to spare while Wesker is charging at me and yet he's able to teleport me to the other side of the pallet, grab me, and slam me against the now dropped pallet.
I get that it's a ping issue, but there really should be some kind of special validation middle ground here where Wesker gets pallet stunned but the survivor gets infected without getting injured.

Must be ping issue or server issue, this doesnt happen to me but it was common when he was buged but it happened like he should get the slap animation as hit but he grabed you and slamed you against window or palett.

Yes, exactly right. They are coddling killer players from the old P2P days, where The Killer was the server. They are reluctant to adopt a neutral and fair system that lets the server handle hits. This also makes exploiting Killer so easy. If you want easy downs, induce the right amount of lag, and you will always hit. The thing I hate about The Mastermind is facing him with any vault/window perks. You lose them and still get snapped into his grasp. At least reset my Perk CD when this happens.

If you mean when you vault window with lythe and he grabs you or what you loose your window perks?

Yeah because the usage of all window and vault perks and then it snaps you into his grasp on the other side of the window with everything on cooldown. So now you've lost your perks, you've lost your momentum, you'll slow vault because you're so close to the window and ultimately you're screwed lol

the darn window and pallet hits are what made me stop playing wesker . Not just do you miss the hit but you also don't vault and sit behind the pallet on window with nothing to do but wait your cooldown.

That was bug that shouldnt happen normaly when you are in vaulting animation he should just hist you with his dash, slap not grab and slam but what Im having issue with is he should slap you when you are in the window or on palett but he wont he just bumps into it and wont slap survivor even when survivor is in hit range somehow devs tried to fix his bug you mentioned and they messed up his normal hit but this is old issue like 1 year minimaly.

Thats it its pushing me from him to more to ghoul because you should get that slap hit but nothing so atleast if he would vault like ghoul does but he doesnt or when you dash from inside of the shack into window survivor use like seconds ago and he isnt in that window but for some uknow reason wesker wont vault the window and it will push him away, hate thi bs when it happens its like seeing your hatchet dissapear into survivor and nothing happens so frustrating.
