Fallout in DbD
Been playing a ton or New Vegas recently and just now saw the season 2 trailer for the show. So it has me thinking. Fallout has a TON of horror elements to it. Unethical experiments, bio-engineering, zombies, abominations and the likes. If Deathclaws aren’t enough for you look at the centaurs.
I think the main issue would be what to do with the chapter? Because the world of fallout works best in rpg scenarios. Like sure you can look at a deathclaw and say “yea that thing looks mean”. But it will never feel the same as using the last of your ammo to kill one, just for 3 more to come charging at you.
I’d love to have it in the game but realistically our killer choice is a Deathclaw (which is basically just Demogorgon) and no survivor. I also feel just giving vault dweller skins to some survivors would be goofy. Might be cool to see some of the followers as skins? What do you guys think?

As a fallout fan, I really hope not, and I feel the inclusion of anything from fallout (much less a deathclaw) would be even more divisive within the already fractured fanbase. The only time Deathclaws were actually resembling a horror icon would be when they were an urban legend that terrified people before actually being true. In modern interpretations, they're just iconography of a difficult and deadly enemy that looks scary.
If you really want to dip into the vats of fallout lore, look into the body horror/grotesque abominations that were in the original games. Some like centaurs would make appearances in later games, but deathclaws kinda encompass how the franchise gets handled anymore: Focus on the most blatant iconography but miss the meaning or even consistency behind everything in the process.

I'd be all for it, and reckon Frank Horrigan from the second series would be an interesting killer, followed by a Deathclaw. I feel they could do something more unique with Frank, rather than a Deathclaw which would basically a Demogorgon without the portals. Frank has tech on his side, so could lead to some interesting takes on weaponry, as well as his Power Armour.
Survivor is trickier, but if this would be a chapter to celebrate Fallout as a series, they could choose Lucy MacLean from the TV series and maybe get a legend in with Liam Neeson as James
Honestly, there's quite a few options for the series. It would fit in well.

Skins would not be bad. They can give the vault suits to some survivors. Like few of the survivors have other cosplay outfits anyway. Maybe make a ghoul skin for Blight or something.
Full chapter I don't see coming.

I even thought that a skin the Securitron for Singularity with a cowboy on the screen would be interesting, but after thinking about it I realized that it was nonsense.
