What killer you dont wanna see in 2v8
For me it would be plague, now legion is very strong especialy if he is in duo with coms other killer gets easy downs, oni gets 2x-3x more powers and other killer gets to much info about survivor whereabouts. Plugue can damage you so quickly but she has longer effect on injuries and on top of that she has corrupt purge which makes her super strong.

Hag. I can't stand seeing her in 1v4, so I'd be even more miserable to see her team up with any other Killer.

Executioner, he gains zero benefit but, the extra killer instinct… would still not be all that great.

Killers that should never be in 2v8, Legion, Plague, Nightmare, Twins, Xeno, Singularity, Onryo, Animatronic, Demidog, Pig, Hag, Cenobite, Meyers.
The reasons are their powers are either OP for 2v8 or simply don't work.
Plague is worse than Legion. Should Never be a 2v8 option EVER!
Singularity would be a little too OP as well.
Meyers would be lvl 3 in the first 15 seconds of a round due to how many targets.
Some of the mechanics would never work, Nightmare, Pig, Animatronic, Onryo, Xeno.
Some of the mechanics would be pointless, Twins, Hag, Demidog, Cenobite.
The setup time renders them useless or they are too easily countered.
No opinion, Vecna, Houndmaster, Dark Lord, Bubba, Knight, Trickster, Artist
These could maybe work? However, there are issues I'd rather not get into the weeds about.

Status effect Killers and high mobility Killers don't seem like a good fit. The former because of what we've already seen with Legion and the latter because it makes it easier to tunnel which continues to be a big problem with 2v8.

I feel like the killers I don't want to see in 2v8 are actually the ones I don't mind in a 1v4. I'd hate to see Dredge in 2v8 specifically paired with other things like Freddy or Trapper because I feel that would be frustrating and not even necessarily strong. Freddy and Dredge I feel would be impossible to optimize / balance because two visual effects stacking on each other. I also feel like there's too many killers who would benefit from Plague keeping people permanently broken or being required to constantly go to fountain.
I admit I kind of want to see Pig in 2v8 specifically for how hectic it could be. I also would like Springtrap but unsure if the other killer could interact with the doors. Chucky (Or even double Chucky) and Myers are the only two I kind of want for memes.
For now though I feel BHVR should just try to get most of their OG killers in 2v8 and worry about licenses later. Unsure who I would even suggest go in 2v8. There's already a decent selection there.

The fact is with few scouts he can turn into palett eating simulator fast and on map like larrys he wont be that good, but I understand what you fear something like shadow class bubba catching three healing survivors off guard.

I dont support legion in this mode he gives you many injures and huge info to your buddy if you are on coms about survivors whereabouts and plague thats different level of suffering.

Dredge. Nightfall gives me an eye strain headache so definitely don't want it added.
Plague for same reasons they shouldn't have added Legion but extra annoying with way sickness spreads.
Pig only because it would be way too easy to interrupt or block players from getting to a box with certain combos. Would like to see 8 survivors boop at once though.

Dreadge with legion could be quite though to play against so many nightfalls and all oneshot.
Idk if nurse bot is the same as when coconut tried win in 2v8 only with nurse bot and suported her as wraith but now imagine nursebot with legion everyone is oneshot basicaly.

I think she would be bigger overkill alone she is just m1 who makes you infected and broken so you are oneshot, you can gain full health with fontains but you give her option to get corruped purge which is very strong ability now imagine this with oni or other killers which can down you fast.
Idont think its good idea to put killers which can injure survivors fast and keep them injure for long time like plague or legion.

Honestly just Oni. Legion is super easy to counter and not a problem really. Oni however is always in power and has crazy turns compared to normal so he is super hard to counter.

I agree that Legion is easy to counter if you know what you’re doing, but most of the time solo queue teammates just spend the whole match healing instead of staying injured and working on gens.

I think the opposite, oni is strong but he needs blood to get his power without legion this takes a while and survivors have much more space and time to heal and stop blood orbs to spawn but with legion he keeps everyone injured and under preasure and oni is getting power way more often. Legion with killers like wraith,nurse,spirit,blight,huntress means that almost whole survivor team can be oneshot and these killers have not that big problem getting hit in 2v8 which makes legion very strong not to mention when he is on coms with his friend, his friend gets all the info from legion killers instinct so oni isnt that big of a problem as legion.

Other thing legion is easy to counter in 1v4 but you have to keep in mind that in 2v8 you go against 2 killers not one and that means legion wont be the only killer who will try to down you theres another one and even weaker killer like ghostface is way stronger against injured survivors from legion than normaly he is with stalking thats fact, legion makes other killers way stronger because everyone is almost half the game oneshot for killers.

easy to counter just do gens but what will you do with that teammates that just stay in healing/mending loop and that other killer like blight,wesker,wraith or oni this is big problem for the team trying to loop the killer that can get hit fast and is strong like blight injured is just fast and easy down for the killer thanks to legion.

Legion and Oni. Anything with constant free injuries to assist the other killer making their chases easier and more impactful turning most chases into one hit chases.

Ghoul, but with no extra buffs, assuming they nerf him on normal mode and this current version is what we get in 2v8.
Houndmaster would be nice too, she can get buffs like no more altruistic dog repelling, various basekit add ons (longer chase command distance, chase speed, search movement speed, Houndsense duration.)
Honestly all killers should be playable in 2V8 regardless of it they have buffs for the gamemode yet or they're unbalanced atm.

Plague can’t injure fast though. Her power takes time to take affect. It’s not like Legion who can dash around and just injure everyone immediately. And in 2V8 the amount of generators is widespread enough that her power really wouldn’t even come in to play until late game because she’s not going to be able to infect all of the generators, definitely not quickly. I don’t think there would be any difference in how you play against her because again she’s not gonna just be able to infect every generator from the jump. And she doesn’t dash around like so unless you’re counterintuitive, I can’t see her being a big problem. And I would definitely enjoy the variety.

Still even she takes more time to get survivors injured her infection takes more time to get rid of and sta healty, this with sloq aspect of the game puls now her fountains spawn where they should be near generators. She has corrupt purge which makes her better huntress and can hit multiple surivors and she would have it quiet often in this mode which with someone like oni or blight would be strong, she can infect gens and objects for like 30 seconds I think which isnt small time and if you do it on progressed gen if survivors wont touch it then fast regression in 2v8 will eat all progress from that gen. Legion can get more injures in shorter time but thats all he can do plus some info for next target while using frenzy but plague has stronger effect by time plus red puke so she is more stronger.

I never want to see skull merchant. Drones on RPD and now Lery's would be a slog. Never wanted to see Legion or Oni in 2v8. I dont mind them in 1v4 but the constant fodder/ blood power up is ridiculous. But they are in there and not going anywhere so there you have it. I'd also not want to see any portal/teleport killer that can instant teleport to gens. About the only thing saving the game from being more tedious is that the killer is forced to navigate the map to check gens.

Current skull merchant wouldnt do much in 2v8 she is probably worst killer and high number of survivors would counter her hard, she cant offer much.

It's more so her ability to lock down entire sections and make the game 30-45mins long. Trapper isn't an A tier killer but on RPD he's terrifying because you have to go through certain doorways.

This version of merchant is very poor in locking areas because her huge nerfs to drones but you can dissarm it and doge the scan light easily by crouching and in 2v8 thers more survivors than drones. Trapper is stronger in 2v8 because he can carry 4 traps and lock some parts of the map, creating fast downs if his traps works so in my opinion he is better in 2v8 than nemesis,slinger and ghostface (idk why but with ghostface almost every game I get revealed by guy behind some huge wall where he cant spot me enough to reveal me).

She alone is bad at getting downs especialy on safe loops which are many in 2v8.

Her ambush is definitely getting buffed in 2v8 no doubt to combat these loops

For sure but some loops like most of loops on asylum maps are super safe and easy to loop so still not that strong, escapist can get away from wraith so I think this calss would counter her too and its very popular class.

True to some extent but you cant disarm and crouch midchase she can literally camp central rpd while her teammate a flushes out one side. And to be sure she will be getting buffs to her drones if she comes to 2v8 because there are 4 more people to disarm them.

Chain hunt in 2v8 means no one can really do gens, which is the strongest part about it. And with another killer helping out, it's really unsafe to ever do the box and it can easily be patrolled if on the ground. That's what I would worry about in 2v8.
